Each year, the Snow Ball is held for the students of Veritas and Spiritus, as a means of getting the schools together. The schools take turns hosting, and this year it was Veritas' honour.
Immaculate decorations transformed the Auditorium into a winter wonderland, the school going all-out, as each year the schools tried to out-do the previous year's Ball.
This year the Veritas Ball Commitee had decked out the room. It was hardly recognizable as an auditorium. Fake snow littered the floor, streamers and snowflake-shaped white and light blue lights hid the ceiling. Tables covered in white cloth lined the perimeter of the rectangular room, the band set up on stage looking out over the sea of arriving students. The students entered the transformed ballroom, passing between two large snowmen dressed as formal ushers. Just to the left of the entryway was a small line that led to a photo station, where the students could get their photos taken by a professional photographer whenever they wished throughout the night.
On the opposite side of the room, between the mass of tables, sat several varietous food and drink tables for the students to enjoy. And, of course, in the centre of the room just before the stage lay the dance floor, where most students would spend their evening.
As the students filed in, the band began to play. And so the night begun.

Well, here he was. The so called exquisite ball of the teenagers are in place. Uriel has been looking forward to this day for months, and months. And not just because of the events occurring that night. It was the perfect night to plan a scheme. And when Uriel plans scheme's, it wasn't a small time scheme. It was a fucking blood brawl. The assassin didn't have time for silly pranks and shitty gags. His definition of prank was not pouring some sort of dye to a woman's shampoo, it was placing hydrofluoric acid instead of the shampoo and watching them melt and liquefy their brains to death. Quite beautiful really. And no, he hasn't done that yet...or has he?
The blonde stood over the mirror, he wasn't at his dorm room. He made a bullshit excuse that he needed to leave. And thankfully, they bought it. A pretty face and a good lying tongue always did the trick for him. And so, there he was, in penthouse apartment of a random man, some kilometers away from the venue, which was his school. he stood over the bedroom, beautiful with all the pink flowers and the pink King sized bed lined with the velvet silk on the canopies of the bed, covering what was inside. And by the looks of it, a rather beautiful woman was on the bed, brunette hair, green eyes, fair complexion and red lips. Yet she was unmoving, the only thing covering her body was a blanket, she looked quite...well...inviting and sexy in her posture, but there was a hint of fright in her eyes as Uriel stood on the front of her vanity, his platinum blonde hair was still in it's messy form, his violet eyes glowed brighter as he stared at him self. his yellow fair skin and his lips which had an apparent blood stain on them. but his face looked flawless still. He never let his wounds be on his face. it was always at his chest...or his stomach, or his crotch. Damn those biters.
The assassin looked back at the pretty girl who was still petrified. His slender naked figure flexing, a pout on his lips "So sorry about your sister, babe. She was too aggressive." Uriel sighed nonchalantly, and only then was the hint of crimson red liquid, trained on his feet shown, and the body of a dead woman on the ground. This woman however, had auburn hair, which was spread in all direction. Her eyes were open, and her naked figure laid down on the ground. At first, you could see no flaw with her body up until you see the small of her neck, where a small bite was at. You see, the neck has a pressure point. A rather deadly one at that. It causes the blood to be pushed out of the pressure point, making it seep to the brain up until pop goes the veins, and blood seeps out of the back of your neck through the pores, and slowly, your brains shuts down on you as more blood flows, and then, you die.. Extreme hickey? Yup. But when that pressure point is triggered, it was said to cause extreme pleasure. Enough to block out the feeling of blood practically threatening to bust out of your head. only then will you notice once the veins are destroyed and the brain synapses are collapsed, causing you to go to a pleasurable euphoria s your brain shuts your entire body down from the loss of blood. And it was one of Uriel's signature kills. What does he call it? The Kiss of Blood.
Hence the small trail of blood on Uriel's lips. Uriel wiped it with her hanker chief before sighing, turning to the petrified woman with his rather well defined physique. He purposely made his way as an Incubus, a Lothario A seducing motherf*cker. Uriel sighed, although the woman did look quite cute and pitiful in that position. he knew that was just a mask. She was a bad bitch. A cold hearted slave trading drug dealing hit making gun trading feminazi frigid bitch. She might look like an Angel. But she's one half of the Krause sisters. The two most beautiful crime lords of Germany. They were feminazi's as well. Only seeing men as sex toys. All of their soldiers were females. And they sold men in the black market. To be used as slaves and workers. Word had it that they sold some to North Korea. Talk about some fucking illustrious business. They smuggled guns and drugs as well. And on the outside, they pose as some Feminist Philanthropists. yeah right. Two extremely hot women as feminists. Uriel didn't buy it. And so it was the reason why he was sent to kill them. He managed to snag their attention at the bar. The older sister, Claudia Krause managed to invite him in this apartment a week before. Scheduled today. So it war quite perfect. And he didn't know that he brought his beautiful sister along. Two birds wit hone stones.
And so, as they plan to make him the best sex slave ever, Uriel derived his plan. And the act came, the moans of pleasure, and the bite. He watched the look on the younger sister, Charlotte Krause as the blood started to explode from her sister's neck, her moans of pleasure as she was unaware of her brain deteriorating and blood seeping out of her. She was so petrified that there she was, as if in a trance. A frown escaped Uriel's lips as he grabbed a circular container from the ground, opening it, his index finger on the gel, transparent like substance, wiping it on his lip. As if nothing happened. Uriel, like a predator walked towards the bed and crawled on top of the woman, for a moment , she warmed up as Uriel leaned closer. His gel-filled lips making contact with hers. The woman hungrily kissed back, and Uriel did so as well. But pulled back as her saliva washed away the gel. Still leaning forward, he watched as the woman became emotionless. Lifeless. her eyes staring into dead space. Potassium Chloride into gelled form. Perfect. he watched as the once sexually voracious woman basically leaned down, dead. A twisted smile went on Uriel's face as he spoke. " Au revoir, mademoiselle." And with that, the silent assassin walked away from their bodies. To a separate dressing room they had.
You see, to seduce Uriel, they bought him a rather expensive Italian tuxedo. The black linen silk exported from China itself, it had an expensive sparkle to it. Uriel, with no hesitation, too kit off the container. and immediately got dressed into it.It fit perfectly, actually. His hands sliding into the sleeves and the tie going nicely. Uriel admired himself on the mirror. he looked like a million bucks. Literally. In the small box container was three pins. All in the shape of roses. it had a diamond glow to it. And Uriel grabbed one, attaching it to his collar, and another one. The last one, however, was attached to the side of the tie. And the last touch of accessories. A purple flower. His favorite color. They said it was from Spain. Cute. With no question, he attached it on the pocket of his expensive tuxedo. He was literally filled with expensive crystals. But that wasn't the last touch. Hell no. Uriel grabbed onto one of the expensive looking perfume. inside was crimson red. Not different from the one outside .They said it was blood. Human blood. It was an illegal perfume that had blood mixed with the smell of roses, sampaguita and dama de noche. Quite suave, really. The blood only made the smell more...seductive. The feeling that you can't say no to someone cause of how good they smelled .Squeezing, he watched as the blood red perfume latched itself onto his body. the fragrant smell not taking any exceptions as circled the room he was in. he didn't smell of blood. he smelt of bloody desire.
Walking towards another section, he stared at the crystal case of his weapons. he left his weapons in the room, of course. To avoid suspicion. Opening the case, he took out two of his favorite daggers. Filled with Death Adder and Black mamba poison. Placing it at his forearm. Strapped by a holster. The two knives were as long as his forearm as well. So it was easy to hide. Opening the other case, Uriel drew both of his Silverballers with their silencer. Putting them on the hidden part of his tuxedo.Under the vest. With a smile, he stared at his rifle, Kimberly and spoke "Poor baby, you won't get to come with me though. So be a good rifle. I'll come back for you."
Uriel stepped out of the apartment, the smell of expensive perfume and sex appeal oozing off of him and he entered his Black Mercedes SLR. With a squeeze of his foot he drove of, to wonderland. The expensive shades he had on were glowing as he drove to the venue. With no minutes spared, he exited the car and went to the school's auditorium. A smile on his lips as e heard the music and partying. Here it goes, then.

"Come on, you not 'to adult' to go to a high school dance!" Silver hissed at Sapphire with a wide smirk as she watched her come out of the room with a beautiful purple dress with silver ribbon circling it. "You're just to stubborn, really." She brushed off her lime green and black dress and smirked wider. "I bet Uriel will be most impressed." Sapphire gave her a sigh and tossed her hair to the side, as she always does, though the dress made her hair more sexy on her than usual. "I am going only because Uriel invited me to be his date." she told her with a glare, but it was practically useless. Silver was ... different than most girls. She wasn't afraid of Sapphire, which is why she liked her, but it got on her nerves sometimes. "Where is Aela?" "Here!" Aela called out as she walked in with a pretty yellow dress that only went over one shoulder. "Are you sure yellow goes with my face Silv? ..." Silver gave her a nod before smirking wide. "I am the master of fashion, which is why I did your makeup too." she said hugging Aela with one arm. "I also forced a bow-tie on Fang so he would look presentable." Fang gave her a growl as he tried to take off the bow on his collar. 'Get ... it ... OFF!!' Letting out a soft laugh, Sapphire loosened the tie on his collar and pet behind his ears, hearing him growl before. "Is this better?" she asked him as she stood back up and looked herself in the mirror. "Well, shall we go ladies ..." Sapphire looked down at Fang, "and wolf." Silver nodded as they all walked out her dormitory. What was running through Silver's mind was meeting Aela's date, for she never met anyone by the name of 'Augustus' before. Then again, she didn't even know half of the people in Spiritus. As they walked downstairs, they found Byron and Lidaya talking to each other before going inside. "Wassup my good people!?" Silver exclaimed as she jumped on Byron's back. Bryon let out a small 'oof' before chuckling and running around with her on his back. Lidaya laughed and walked to the two other girls. "Hey," she greeted smiling, "we should enter before all the good tables are taken." And with that, the four girls, Byron, and Fang walked into the dance, unaware of what may come. ooc: Just a little setup of that 'spiking drinks' plot

The atmosphere was intense. The men and women were already dancing. Uriel actually felt himself enjoying this. On the dance floor, Uriel was dancing with a random girl. Although it was fun. He was secretly wondering where his beautiful Sapphire was. He hoped she didn't have any plans. He wanted her all by himself for this one night. Uriel's eyes scanned the room as the girl blabbered about how he smelled and asked if he was wearing an Imperial Majesty perfume or if his suit was made by Giorgio Armani. Only if she'd believe that his perfume was made by people who made expensive high class crystal meth and his suit was probably woven from Muga Silk. Rarest silk there ever is. Only a bit derived. Uriel smiled at her, but his eyes caught of Sapphire. And without question he spoke.
"Yeah. Giorgio Armani made the suit. Close friend of mine, Anyways, I need to run babe. Duty calls." And with that, he kissed her cheek goodbye before blending with the crowd. Uriel's eyes trained on Sapphire. A smile on his lips was apparent as he sneaked up behind her, like a predator. And with no question what soever. He took her hand and pulled her from the group of women she was with. Hugging her close. "Is my lioness finally here?"

Sapphire would have hit the person who grabbed her before realizing that it was Uriel. She let out a laugh at his comment. "If I am standing right in front of you, than yes I am." Without hesitation, she kissed his lips and brushed her fingers through his hair. "I smell illegal perfume," Sapphire whispered with a soft laugh as Silver walked over.
"Uri!" she exclaimed with a wide smirk. "Last time I saw you I gave you new scars ... and you gave me new scars." Silver laughed and looked up on stage. "Oh right! Gotta go! I'm the DJ this year!" And with that she bolted up on the stage and took her spot behind the mixing board.
"If you're about to ask how I met her ... don't." Sapphire told him as she kissed his cheek. "Do you have anything planned for tonight?" She knew that he knew what she meant, and she didn't mind it at all. In fact, it's actually kinda funny when he decides to spike someone's drink. Rather funny to watch the guy stumble around choking on his own saliva ... or that might be just her.

Transferring to a new school was hard. Transferring to a boarding school was harder. Transferring to a boarding school for teenagers with powers was just...strange. Still, Keyla had tried to be confident the day she opened the doors of Spiritus academy, which had only been a week ago. She'd barely become accustomed to the school and then she heard whispers about the annual Snow Ball. That was today and while most new students would feel odd about going to such a thing when they didn't know anybody, Keyla wanted to put herself out there. She wanted to meet new people, for she was finally among people who had the capacity to understand her. They had powers as well.
So, she'd set off to the stores in the town of Cranbrook and found a stunning strapless red dress that had ruffles in all of the right places. One of the girls in her dorm so nicely offered to do her hair as well. Lastly she just bought some gold sparkly heels. Her light red hair was up in a bun, curled tendrils falling into her face. One of the girls insisted on putting just the slightest bit of makeup on her, some eyeliner and blush and she reluctantly agreed, even though she'd rather just go with her face natural.
And so here she was, walking in the doors of Veritas Academy, the other school that was much like the one she just started attending. They were holding the ball this year. Winter was her least favorite season, because all of the nature around her was dead, but something like this would cheer her up. She would remain positive.
And so she entered the auditorium, decorated as a winter wonderland with a deep breath and confidence in her step. Being the new girl was hard, but it was also fun. Nobody knew who you were yet.

Dakota wasn't really sure what the hell he was doing. He felt weird. Talon had given him one weird look when he said he was going to the snow ball and to be honest, Dakota wasn't really sure why he was going, but he'd bought a nice navy blue jacket and a tie and he was going to try and have fun. It was better than sulking in his dorm and being known as the guy who burned down a tree on campus out of anger.
Lately, he'd managed to somewhat get his fire problem under control, but other problems had worsened, such as his emotional and mental ones. He felt lost as he walked into the snow ball, not a girl on his arm and not a boy on his arm and he wondered if there was one he would prefer more. He was so out of it, that he wasn't even really paying attention to where he was going.
Was he hoping that tonight would help him decide his sexuality? Was he hoping to have some sort of an epiphany on the dance floor and finally feel confident again for the first time in years?
He wasn't sure what he was searching for, but somehow he ended up by the table with all of the food.

Eloise hummed to herself as she fixed another curl in her hair. She wasn't going all out with updos and sparkles, but she had decided to take some of her less manageable curls and make them look nicer with a curling iron. She was in front of the mirror in her in Adaryn's room - already completely dressed (minus her shoes). The dress she wore was flattering to her figure and sassy - just like her. And the snowflakes around the hem were perfect for the theme of the dance - especially since she found some sparkly snowflake earrings to match.
She put down her curling iron, and started on her makeup when her eyes moved in the mirror to look at Adaryn's reflection. "I can't believe you're not going," El said with dissapointment in her voice. "I was honestly hoping you'd change your mind by this point." In fact, Ella was still hoping Adaryn would spontaneously decide it would be fun and want to go. That way Ella wouldn't have to be overly forceful. But it was getting to a point where she was going to have to bring out the sass and force her friend into that beautiful dress. "Are you 100% positive you don't want to go. Not even a little bit?" She turned to look at her friend with big, pleading green eyes - which only looked even bigger with the makeup she had applied.
Convincing Monroe wouldn't be nearly as difficult. If El played her cards right she could guilt trip Monroe into going with her. He was too nice of a guy to just let Ella go alone. Of course he wouldn't be aware that she had already convinced Adaryn to come along.

Eloise was looking nice for the dance, fixing a few of her already practically flawless curls with a curling iron. It was an interesting thing watching Ella get ready, putting makeup on and all. The only thing she had a problem with on Eloise's outfit was the fact that she was wearing heels that, to Adaryn, were way to high to be walked in. She cast a glance down at her ratty old black vans and kicked her feet. That was how she liked her shoes, broken in with history. When Ella asked to go shopping with her a few days before the dance, she had picked up some new flats that she felt would be comfortable because her roommate refused to let her get vans. She had no clue why.
Her attention was brought back to Eloise when she started telling her how she wished she would go to the dance. "Naw, too many emotions. You know me, I don't like dealing with them." She shrugged. It was true. Adaryn wasn't even going to bring up the fact that she wouldn't have a date even if she did go because, well, neither did Ella.
"Are you 100% positive you don't want to go. Not even a little bit?"
Ella had turned around, pleading to Adaryn with her green eyes wide. She couldn't help but consider just a tiny bit, but then she shook her head no. "Ella, I can't. I won't have fun. I mean, I don't dance, and I am not a social butterfly. I can't even talk to people without staring at my shoes." She stared into Ella's green eyes with her blue orbs firmly. "Well except for you." It was getting easier with Monroe, but she still found it hard making eye contact like she was will Eloise at the moment. That might never change. "I don't want to be the third wheel, either. You can get Monroe to come with you and you guys can have a good time. I will probably be in the library reading or something while you two have fun." Adaryn gave Eloise a quick smile before laying back down on the bed she was sitting on. It was basically a gesture that said. Conversation. Done. Adaryn wasn't going, no matter what Ella said.

Eloise's pleading look turned into a sassy glare. She rolled her eyes and groaned, turning back to the mirror. "Monroe already said he wasn't going either!" She huffed, continuing to put on her makeup. But the fact that Monroe wasn't going wasn't changing Adaryn's mind either. She wouldn't fall for the guilt trip like Monroe would. Adaryn simply layed down on her bed as if to finish the conversation. But Ella was far from finished. She walked up to Adaryn and placed a hand on her hip. "I know you considered it for a second there...." still no response. Ella groaned. "This is ridiculous." she mumbled, walking over to her closet, shifting around some of her clothes to get to the things that were in the back.
When she found what she was looking for she grabbed it, and walked back over to Adaryn, dropping it over her face. Putting her hand back on her hip and waiting for her friend to realize what it was, Ella took a deep breath. "Put the dress on. You're going to the ball," she said sternly. "I'm tired of you're contradictory thoughts about the thing and your self-deprecating thoughts regarding this dress. Which you look totally hot in by the way."
She didn't let Adaryn respond before she continued, "And just because Monroe is took stupid to realize he's your knight in shining combat boots doesn't mean you can't go and have a good time." She raised her eyebrows, before turning away from Adaryn, not regretting a word that she had said despite the fact that it probably embarrassed her friend.

Eloise practically snapped when she made it clear that she did not want to continue with the conversation. Apparently one does not end a conversation with Eloise without repercussion. She could hear her room mate stomp off and open up the closet, rummaging for things. Did she forget where her shoes were?
Suddenly she had fabric thrown on her face, and when she opened her eyes and picked it up, she saw the dress she had looked at back at the store. How did she...? "Put the dress on. You're going to the ball. I'm tired of you're contradictory thoughts about the thing and your self-deprecating thoughts regarding this dress. Which you look totally hot in by the way." The words coming from Eloise took a moment to register in Adaryn's brain. She was still held up on the fact that the dress was there in the first place. It cost an arm and a leg! And before she could even ask her about it, something else came out of her mouth that caused her cheeks to burn bright red.
"And just because Monroe is too stupid to realize he's your knight in shining combat boots doesn't mean you can't go and have a good time."
Adaryn turned to Eloise again, trying to form words. Monroe was just her friend! Wasn't he? Well, sure he went into that dream with her and took a knife for her, but that was only because he wanted to try to help her as a friend. He would have done it for Eloise, and whoever else was a friend. Monroe was just like that, wasn't he?
"W-What are you talking about Ella? Monroe is just my friend!" She was terrified at the thought of Monroe liking her. She didn't know how to be a girlfriend, or flirt, or any of that. She would be a horrible person to date! She looked at the dress again. " And I still don't want to go. I would probably be sitting at a table all night playing with fake snowflakes." She mumbled.

Eloise turned and gave Adaryn yet another of her signature sassy looks. Although they didn't always work great on anything because Ad could feed off of El's sass and just shoot back another sassy comment. But it was too natural for Eloise to simply stop her reactions. "Girl... you keep telling yourself that," she shook at her friend, who continued to try and convince herself internally Monroe was just her friend. Eloise had heard the inner argument quite a few times before.
"And you won't be alone, because you're going with me and we're going to have a great. freaking. time." she smiled and tried to expel some excitement into Adaryn. she'd be pissed at her for influencing her emotions later, but she was pulling out all the stops to convince her to go. "So stop worrying about how much the dress costs. Put it on, and find your flats. Because I refuse to let you wear those beat up sneakers with that dress." Ella made a face at the shoes she wished Adaryn would just throw away. Ella had nothing against sneakers. Her favorite shoes were converse. But this was a ball!! And it was time for the girls to look like princesses.

" But... I..." Ella was getting annoyed with Adaryn's lack of cooperation with this plan that she seemed to have conjured up the day she went over to find their dresses for this dance. A part of her wanted to go and scream and ask why Eloise wouldn't respect her wishes and just let her stay behind, but it would probably ruin Ella's dance entirely because she would get upset somehow or the other. And all Ella wanted to do was bring Adaryn to the dance to have a good time with her. What was the harm in that? But even still, Adaryn still was afraid she would do nothing but sit at a table alone while Ella ran around and spoke to people who she didn't know. Even she said Monroe wasn't going, so if Ella left, that was it for her. She would be alone.
In the end though, she just wanted to avoid an argument, so reluctantly with a horrible feeling in the pit of her stomach, she stood up, dress in hand. "Fine," She grumbled softly. She went, in no hurry, to retrieve her flats and put them by the edge of the bed and started getting ready. 5x+ 4y=18 She had to hide the scars on her arms somehow, so when she started slippong into the dress, she moved to the other side of the roomnear the closet and started rummaging through for the cardigan she had bought. As soon as she found it, she slipped her arms in and instantly felt much more comfortable.
She moved to her bed, slipping on the flats she had bought and looked up at Ella. "There." She said simply.

Gavin pushed open the doors to the auditorium. He was slightly annoyed that the ball was held at Veritas this year, but Spiritus would surely show them up next year. He wasn't too worried about it. He was in a dark navy suit with a white button up underneath and a blue tie as well. He loved wearing the color blue, the color of the pool and of his eyes. It worked for him.
He looked around as he walked inside for familiar faces. Mostly he was looking for Aura. She owed him and besides, he wanted to steal a dance at some point during the night. He was sure that she had worn something stunning and took his advice and went with red. It would look intense on her with her dark hair and tanned skin. Not to mention it worked very well for the 'she-devil' title he and Uriel had given her.
Speaking of Uriel... He saw him a few feet away talking to a tall blonde, a girl he'd met only about a week ago. She'd just joined the Spiritus swim team. Uriel knew her? Of course...she was Russian. And she had planted a kiss on his cheek.
He walked over purposefully. "Excuse me," he said, butting in a bit, a wide grin on his face. "Nice to see you again, Sapphire. Have you been practicing your disgraceful breast stroke?" He smirked before turning to Uriel. "Have you seen Aura?"

He didn't expect that she'd be with another woman. But what he did expect were the soft lips on his cheek. Uriel ignored Silver mostly. He didn't want to burn her down. Not right now at least. Uriel waved her off and still kept his arm slung around Sapphire. He smiled at her, still pulling her close. And he chuckled at what she said earlier. Yep. Illegal perfume alright. His blonde hair still looked bright in the light and he whispered "Mhmm. Illegal in every way, Sapphie." Uriel bit his lip, looking at her own. He wanted to kiss her and take her home but it was going to be impractical on his part right now. So he just stopped himself before speaking "Someone looks like a million dollars. Tell me love. How much Mob Boss heads did you shoot this week?" Uriel's sanctuary however, got rudely interrupted when the annoying sound of another voice. Although the voice was quite familiar, he still didn't like it.A
And Maddox ran his mouth, like how he always did. And Uriel stared him down. His violet eyes just sparkling with anger. He kind of felt annoyed but at the same time, a bit amuse. So Sapphie was doing breast strokes? He hoped it wasn't a sexual innuendo. Or he'd have to kick Maddox ass, and probably bitch slap someone. So Uriel shook his head and spoke, his Russian accent slightly edgy. "I hope that is not a sexual innuendo and nothing is between you two." He mainly glared at Gavin cause well... he can. "And Aura? I believe she is in the deepest throne in Satan's Kingdom. Just below my circle of hell." Uriel smiled, hoping get get the joke. And he once more, brushed his blonde hair away before speaking. “And yes, I do have something planned.” And with that, he reached into the pocket of his suit, pulling out a small vial, the inside silvery. And he spoke “A small invention of mine. Vodka and an excerpt from a highly toxic substance. It turned the liquid to something that puts alcoholic properties into other beverages. To the point that a few cups can get you excessively drunk.” And with that, he smiled. “So where should we put it, Gavin?”
