Penny arrived at her assigned dorm, and was surprised to see she was the very first person. The place was a mess, surprisingly enough. Spiritus was so strict on keeping dorms tidy, how did this even happen?
She shrugged, and just decided to at least start cleaning the place, before anyone else arrived. Without even thinking about it, four duplicates appeared before her. Based on the way they were lounging, and their expressions, it didn't long to determine that excitement, nervousness, bold, and determined were around her.
They all talked at once, "I can't wait to see who we're going to get this year to room with!"
"I-I don't."
"Don't be such a wuss, I'm sure she'll be fine."
"Let's just get on with this!"
"Be quiet!" Penny yelled, stomping her foot. She sighed, and said in a calmer voice, "This place is a pig sty. We're going to make the place spotless, kapeesh?" The group nodded, and it didn't long before everyone was running about, with cleaning supplies in hand, to make the dorm look liveable again.

On her way to the campus, Andie was lucky to find a twenty dollar bill on the ground. It was as if good fortune followed her. Extreme luck was something she had become used to. It was natural and well, she could also control it and change the luck of others. It was an idea she found most amusing.
She didn't really want to go to Spiritus, but she didn't really have an option. So what if she'd been using her power too much? So what if she earned some money off of those foolish to challenge her to a game when she so obviously was luckier than all of them? The odds were in her favor and if they weren't, she'd make it so.
She made her way down the long hallway to the dorm room where she would be staying and opened the door, lugging her bags with her. The sight she saw was certainly an interesting one. The dorm was being cleaned by several people, but that wasn't the part that threw Andie off. The several people were all the same person, exact copies of each other walking around.
Slowly, she shut the door behind her. "Hello," she greeted, with a wave, not sure which one she was talking to or if she was just speaking to all of them in general. She didn't know all the powers that existed, but certainly wasn't expecting this. "Please tell me I don't have to room with all of you." She laughed slightly.

"Hello," They all waved, in slightly different dialects, all except for nervous who just backed up slightly, not wanting to talk. Bold shook her hand, "nice to meet you! I'm Penny." The rest nodded, deciding to just follow bold's lead. "Anyways, when we got here the room was a mess, so we just duplicated and--"
The original Penny walked out of the bathroom, surprised to see that the duplicates had stopped, and were standing near the front of the room. She walked closer, only to find that her her roommate arrived. Quickly, she walked close to all her duplicates, and took them back in. "Sorry about that. I'm not sure what they were telling you, but my name is Penny, and," she giggled, "I think you can already guess what my power is."

Andie's eyes darted between the many duplicates of the girl who was apparently her roommate. They all began talking at the same time and the weird thing was, they all sounded slightly different. One of them came forward to shake her hand and Andie shook it hesitantly, not wanting to show she was weirded out, even if this was a power she didn't normally come guy. "I'm Andie," she replied with a nod.
One of them was in the middle of speaking when another came running and apologized, making all of the others disappear. Did she have the memories her duplicates did? That was something that Andie wondered. "They told me your name. And I'm Andie, your roomate." This girl seemed a bit too sunshiney for her tastes, but she was nice enough. "Duplication, interesting."

"Sorry if they scared you," she said, noticing Andie looked a bit confused, and freaked out when she came over. "I wasn't expecting anyone to come in right now, but I guess I should've waited around before I split up.." She said, mumbling more, and more as she spoke.
"But anyways," she spoke, more clearly again, "the place was a mess when I came in here, not sure how it could've gotten like that. I was only working for a few minutes, so it still looks kinda crummy in here." She said, turning her head from side, to side. Without saying another word, she split up again, and resumed cleaning.

Andie laughed. "It's no problem. You just have an interesting power." She grinned. Penny seemed a bit unsure of herself, while Andie really wasn't. She liked to confuse people though. She had a bubbly personality, but enjoyed fooling others. It was fun to her. She wanted to show people that you could be bubbly and fun, but also not one to be messed with.
Besides, having duplicates of herself? Damn, that was cool. If Andie had that power she wouldn't have to do anything. She could send one to school, one to do homework and the other to clean. Now that was a power that was totally useful. "I'll just let you and your duplicates handle the mess then," she said, flopping down on her bed and lounging there. Her bags were still not unpacked on the floor.

Bold looked up from what she was doing, and said, "you could at least OFFER to help."
Kind looked at Bold, "well that's not nice. She just got here an--"
"Yeah and so did we. Doesn't excuse anything."
Even nervous squeaked, "Bold has a point..."
Kind rolled her eyes, and continued to work silently. The original Penny, stayed silence the entire time, not knowing what to do. She wouldn't want to anger her new roommate, before they even got to know each other. She really did hope that the duplicates weren't too weird for Andie. This was the first time she had them out in front of somebody else, and she felt very self conscious about the entire thing.

Persy walked down the hall, overloaded with things to carry. She hated that her parents made her bring the two gigantic suitcases, but they were genuine leather so she couldn't exactly throw them out, even though the thought of owning such things was pretty horrifying. She hadn't wanted to take two trips carrying everything upstairs so she ended up half dragging a suitcase with one hand along with her backpack, while carrying the second one plus holding her cat, Kerry, under her other arm. "Doesn't this make for a dramatic entrance for the daughter of one of the richest men in Germany?" she thought to herself as she continued down the hallway. Finally reaching the dorm door labeled grade 10, she saw that it was half open and tried to push it open more with a hand still holding a suitcase. Her cat disliked this and hissed loudly, jumping down and making Persy drop a suitcase in the process. It landed on the wood floor loudly, the metal handle clattering as it hit the ground. Giving up, she left the thing on the floor and looked into the room, to see what looked like four or five identical twins and another girl. They looked like they had been cleaning a moment before, but now stood frozen, staring at the doorway. Calling Kerry back to her side, Persy stepped over the suitcase, trying to maintain as much dignity as she still had, and walked into the room. "Hi," she said with as much authority in her voice as she could muster. "I'm Persy, I think I'm going to be your roommate this year."

Before any of the duplicates could scold Andie anymore, the third room mate enters. "Hello!" They all said at once, all in slightly different tones. Sighing, Penny reabsorbed the duplicates once more, to greet the new comer. "Hi! My name is Penny, and as you could probably guess, my power is duplication. The girl on the couch is Andie, and I have no idea what she does." She giggled a little at her own joke.
A large, plump cat walked next to Persy, and sat down. "Aww it's a cat!" Penny kneeled down to pet it. "Back home we had all kinds of animals, cows, chickens, some dogs, but I never had a cat. What's his name?" She asked, still lightly petting its head.

Andie looked up at the girl who walked in, moving into a sitting position on the couch. She listened to the bickering of the duplicates but paid no mind. They obviously were fine with cleaning. She'd gotten lost in her thoughts for a moment about how she could challenge all of Penny's duplicates to a card game. Now that would be fun, but she snapped out of her thoughts when another girl walked in with a cat which Penny seemed to be mesmerized by, as all of her other duplicates had disappeared.
"Do you just replicate yourself at random?" she asked curiously. "And my power is a mystery." She winked. Telling people that she could manipulate luck just ruined the surprise.
She was getting impatient, wanting to see who else would be in this dorm. "Where are all of the other grade eleven students?" she asked out loud.
OOC: I wrote this so she would realize she was in the wrong dorm, haha.

Persy did her best not to act freaked out at the duplication and smiled at the girl. This kind of thing was probably completely normal around here, right? She seemed nice enough, if a bit too geeky-looking, and anyone who liked Kerry immediately seemed better in Persy's eyes. Then again, it could just be an empty compliment to try and get on her good side... The other girl wouldn't be in their dorm but it would probably be worth getting to know her. She had a certain... confidence. Like she knew she would succeed. She looked like someone you would want as your friend, never your enemy. "Her name's Kerry," Persy said, nodding towards the cat. "I've had her ever since i was a little kid... I'm not actually sure if Spiritus allows pets, considering how strict they are with everything else, but there's no way I can do this without her. These rules are ridiculous though." She frowned and tugged on her uniform shirt. "The teacher who showed me where the dorms were practically threw a fit over my hair, but there's no way I'm changing that, either. "Anyway," she continued, "my power is animal manipulation, even though right now I can't do much more than get dogs and cats to bring me things, no animals bigger than that... I'm not that great at this yet," she confessed, sighing. Persu suddenly realized how much she was talking. The other girls both seemed quieter, and here she was, jabbering on. She turned walked over to the suitcase still in the doorway. "So, you guys want to help me drag this stuff inside?"

She turned her head to face Andie, "at random? No. I can control my powers fairly well, I just can't control WHAT emotions I lose when it happens. I usually don't replicate this much, but there's just so much cleaning to do..." She was used to having to do chores, but it was so much nicer to have three, or four, helping hands.
"Well they must have allowed it, if they let her walk in with you." She chimed, standing up, trying to help drag Persy bag into the room. "Wow, what did you bring with you?" Penny only had a small bag of necessities with her to the school. They had to wear uniforms anyways, so what could Persy have possibly brought along with her?
After helping Persy drop the bag on a nearby bed, she added, "anyways, welcome to Sophmore Dorm."

Persy shrugged, not really wanting her to see the piles of useless yet ridiculously expensive clothes and things her suitcases were crammed with. Penny had mentioned having animals at home, and she was obviously not dressed by designers, so Persy didn't want to make her feel awkward. That, and she didn't know how the other girl saw rich people, and Persy HATED being judged by her money. "Just, umm, I have a lot of stuff for Kerry, and there's a lot of winter clothes i thought i might need... I'm from Germany, and I kind of tend to overprepare for possible cold." She turned away and walked around the room, walking over to the bed closest to the window. "Is this bed taken? The view over the lake is gorgeous..."

Andie shrugged at Penny's response. "At least you can control it somewhat." When she heard them speaking about being in the sophomore dorm, she wrinkled her nose. This wasn't the junior dorms! "Looks like I stumbled into the wrong dormitories. I'm a junior. I'd call it bad luck, but it was good luck to run into two possible friends." She grinned to herself. That is, if they could handle her personality. If she went into the wrong dorm, it wasn't bad luck or a mistake, it was meant to happen and something good would come of it for her.

Penny clapped hands together, "AHA!" She cheered. "You have good-luck powers! Penny knew that Andie wasn't trying that hard to hide it anyways, but it was still nice to figure out the mystery anyway. "Have fun in the Junior Dorm. We'll see you around some time." She chimed, waving to Andie. She was a bit rude, and kinda lazy, but she didn't seem awful. Penny hoped she wasn't too annoying, and her powers weren't too weird. The first two girls to see her powers, already seemed freaked out by it. Penny would make note to stop doing it.
