An evil threat

Okay, so let's say there's a black market, that involves kidnapping these kids with super powers, to be sold. Now this splits into two ideas, however they could be combined, since black markets can work like that.
1) Their DNA would be taken, and harvested to try to give millionaires/countries with large military budgest to try to take the DNA, and to make super powers. They would keep the kids to continue to harvest their DNA.
2) Sell the kids. Sex slave? Perhaps, but I'm guessing it will probably be physical labor of some sort. It depends on the super power really.

Anyways, I was thinking that a few kids would get sent to investigate, since kids from their own schools have been disappearing, and on the mission one of them does kidnap, and the rest escape yadadadadada

So what do you guys think?

I like the general idea. i think that the government should be trying to use them to make an army for some purpose...I don't know what.

Government works too. I do want kidnapping though, maybe even video tapes to be made, demonstrating their abilities, to prove that they're not phonies.

Ooh I do like Syd's idea a bit better.
The government actually using the schools to train an army. And the missions actually being ways of testing which kids will be worth their while.

The only thing is that Canada isn't like that. We're all 'no, no war.'
So that might not work.

I also like the idea of selling the power kids on a black market. Maybe not many from the school because they're protected, but kids the schools haven't been able to scout yet.

What if that's it, and the government are using the kids from the school to save the black marketed ones, but doesn't want to tell them yet because that might freak them all out if they know people like them are being used in that way

So this can definitely be a mission plot for the future. VXS is only a few days old, so I think that for now we should just get used to our characters and form relationships (good or bad) with other characters so that when we do the missions later on, they will be more effective and not all about getting to know people.
