"Fair enough. I believe you." Kazu seemed like a guy who loved doing things he shouldn't while doing whatever he could to get away with doing. Like buying the cigarettes he just had earlier. Skye knew for a fact, though she didn't smoke, that you had to be at least 18 to buy a pack, and look what he did. He used his magic fingers to create the cash, the ID, and the appearance to get it without any hassle.
Skye wasn't expecting another other than a goodbye, and possibly a 'maybe i'll see you around?' But he actually went even further as to ask her to meet up with him Saturday night. Saturday was usually her lazy 'i'm too tired to do shit,' day because she had early morning practice that involved some serious drilling in the pool, and considering her lack of sleep these past few days, she wasn't sure if she would be up to it. But how can I say know to a face like that? Skye decided that she might as well say maybe. No need to immediately decline.
"Depends," She gave him a playful smile. "What are your plans for the night?"

He licked his lips, but tried not too look too eager- He had her on the hook, it was true because she said maybe and not a flat out no, but he still needed to keep her interest and reel her in. Even if she did say no, he'd like to think he did a pretty good job anyway, even with hobo clothes.
"Well how about two options? We can do the mundane thing. Fabricate some cash, go out to eat in the swankiest place here. Make some tickets, see a movie, maybe even sneak for a double feature. Or we can stop pretending that we do normal things and Saturday can be a surprise adventure. Your choice, of course." A toothy smile spread on his face, almost anxious for her reply.

Skylar gasped dramatically, putting her hand on her chest "Not the mundane thing!" But what he described was exactly that, mundane. She knew friends who enjoyed the whole cliche date, where the guy takes you to a movie and dinner, and in the middle he did that 'oh i'm going to pretend to yawn so I can put my arm around you' thing. And in all honesty, if somebody did that to her, she would probably up and leave. She was glad he wasn't that kind of guy, because if he was, it would have been a wasted conversation.
"I guess we can have a bit of adventure, but I have to warn you, I will be pretty tired on Saturday. Coach loves grilling us until our muscles ache then." It was a fair warning, one that Kazu might ignore entirely, which she didn't mind. She didn't want anything physical, unless that meant a swim in a private indoor pool. But Skye had a feeling whatever he did decide on, it would definitely be interesting. "But whatever you do decide, I want to see you work your magic cause it is just fucking cool. Deal?" She cocked her head to the side, bag hanging off her arm, as she waited for a response and a chance to part ways.

Maybe he would ignore the warning, maybe he would heed it. Frankly, with their shiny new Saturday night date in the future, he figured she'd find her second wind quite quickly. With any luck, she might even like it. It was only a few days away, leaving him ample time to plan every move, every surprise. "Alright, but try not to call it magic. It's more like Alchemy."
Kazu bent over to pick up his bag off the ground, pocketing his very cold, numb hands. He really needed to get some warmer clothes, at least that would be sanctioned by Dad's credit card. "I'll be outside your school at seven, dress warm."

"Alright, fair enough. I'll keep the whole 'magic fingers' thing to myself. I guess I'll see you Saturday." Skylar was very curious as to what he would have planned, and since there was plenty of time to think, she didn't doubt she would have a good time. Even if she had met Kazu about 15 minutes ago in the oddest of circumstances, Skye already realized his ability to twist and spice things up. To be honest, she would be surprised if she didn't have a good time. With that kind of power? It didn't seem physically possible. Skye searched the bag quickly, making sure nothing fell out while it was on the floor.
"But yeah, I gotta go. If I'm gone any longer, my room mates will freak." Skye didn't tell them she left, not even with a note, and it was unlike Skylar to be out this early. She smiled sheepishly, waving at him. "Oh yeah, and I think there is a swim meet sometime in the next week or so. I'll let you know if it is before Saturday, and if you want to go, feel free." And with that, she turned and headed on her way. Well, that was fun.

Kazu smiled to himself, watching her walk away and enjoying it. Even though he didn't give her his number, he didn't have a cellphone. Which made him pretty inaccessible to most people in the world. After several months of not having a phone, however, he was used to it. He was certain she knew where to look if she wanted to find him, and it wasn't like he couldn't find her with a little tenacity. Feeling confident as she turned the corner and left, Kazu continued onwards for the next best thing- preferrably a coat without holes and boots made for Canada, not California.
