Family History» The Maddox family doesn't have a very good history. Christopher, Gavin's father, is a ruthless man who has the power to induce pain. This power took him over and made him a controlling, manipulative, powerful man. Lily left him after no long being able to handle it and took Gavin's twin sister, Ariana with her when the two children were ten years old. Gavin chose to stay with his father and started to take after him, believing the idea that he was given a power because he was special, better than others.
Although him and his father got in many arguments and he was often at times even abusive towards Gavin, he will defend his father to no end.
His father sent Gavin to Spiritus while their mother sent Ariana to Veritas.

Personality» Gavin is quite selfish and competitive, an arrogant guy who is proud to be at Spiritus because it's more elite in his opinion, but also annoyed by the rules. He acts like the perfect golden boy in class, but when his uniform isn't on, he's ruthless. He finds his power amusing and knows that he'll always have the upper hand in a fight. This makes him cocky because he knows nobody can mess with him without paying for it.
He usually only does something nice for somebody if he'll get something out of it and he's naturally charismatic, although if you get on his bad side or cach him at the wrong time...well, watch out.
Likes - Swimming, competitions, winning, flirting, deceiving others, using his power to show off.
Dislikes - Rules, people who are afraid of their powers or don't embrace them, people with lame powers, those who try to outdo him.

Academics» Gavin's grades are fairly good, exceptional in some areas. He puts up a facade during school hours and after school hours, he's one of Spiritus' resident bad boys.
Powers» Paralysis. Gavin can completely immobilize a target. He can make others freeze or crumple to the ground, unable to move. His power is limited in the way that he must be near the target. Right now the longest he's paralyzed someone is twenty minutes, which was a guy who pissed him off. He wonders if he can do it for even longer.
Discovery» Gavin discovered his powers when arguing with a boy at school in the courtyard. Things got heated and a fight started, ending in Gavin paralyzing him.
Weakness/Vulnerability» As for his power, his weakness right now is that he can't paralyze somebody for too long and some people with certain powers are immune to his ability. Paralyzing someone also takes a lot of concentration.
As for his personality, his weakness is relating to others. He is also rather cold.
Strengths» Gavin is a good fighter and he does not give up easily. This plays as a strength in some ways. He's also strong-willed and persuasive.
