Sexual Orientation» Hetero, though she was bi-curious last year. She hasn't tried anything with a female, though. She hasn't tried anything with a guy, either. Her shy persona prevented that. But perhaps as her power continues to take over, this will be the year she breaks out of her shell.
Hair Colour and Style» Long, dark, naturally straight hair.

Weight» 130 lbs.
Distinguishing Features» There is nothing too distinguishing about Aura to set her apart from people. She generally has her nose in a book. When she uses her powers, however, you could spot her in a crowd easily.
Clothes» When not in her swim team uniform, Aura likes to wear straight leg jeans or comfortable track pants paired with a regular, v-neck tee or sweater. It all depends on the weather. She likes to wear her swim team jacket around, however. It's a swim team thing.

Siblings» Abigail, 4, preschooler. Aura does not know her that well.
John Junior, 10, elementary student. The last Aura heard of him, he wanted to be a race car driver, but he was eight. She is sure he'll be just like his daddy.
Family History» There is not too much to say about the Morgans. Aura does not like to talk of her family. After discovering her powers, John and Janine Morgan locked their daughter in her bedroom for hours and later returned with holy water and crucifixes, then tried performing an exorcism. Aura barely lived through it and in the end it was her powers that saved her. Her parents were horrified that their daughter was cursed with such powers and insisted they did not give birth to her and that she must be some sort of devil's spawn. They cast her out of the house and she has not heard of them since. Veritas Academy took her in soon after that and she lives there full time. She tried to locate her family after a few months, but discovered they had moved. She had no idea where they could be and is slowly discovering she does not care anymore. They don't care, so why should she?

Personality» Aura is a simple person. She is quite the introvert. She likes to read and keep to herself, but is very friendly when interacting with others. She was raised in a church (her family lived inside of one because of her father's job) and so she was raised to be quite the good girl. She is slowly realising that not everything her parents told her was true. They took church and religion to the extreme (they thought she was the child of Satan, after all!) and the shock has not quite yet worn off. She does loathe religion now. It is what took her family away from her.
Aura cannot recall the last time she got truly angry. She is usually very laid back and calm. Her quiet nature is not the best thing for her, however. As her powers take further effect on her, she has the potential to discover a darker side of her.
As a result of her history, she is not sure she even believes a thing such as love exists. She believes in attraction and in lust, but if her own family could not see past her powers and love her, why would anyone else? She would, however, not mind being 'in like' with someone. But love? Where's the proof?
She is also not a trusting person. She might like you and enjoy your company, but she does not trust you. She is very guarded.
Likes - Books and reading, the quiet, friendly conversation, her english and history classes, attending a powers school, trees, flowers, clothes, swimming, water, sitting by the lake, the smell of chlorine
Dislikes - hostile people, confrontation, being put on the spot, class presentations, being shy, her history, her family, religion
I feel the need to add this here: Here's the thing. You might think Aura would hate her powers, but she neither likes nor dislikes them. They are a part of her that she could not imagine herself without, but she is almost indifferent towards them. They are her. She neither likes nor dislikes herself. However if she had to choose, she would rather have her powers than not.

Academics» Since she enjoys reading her English grade is her best. Her history falls at a close second, and the rest of her classes rest somewhere in the low-mid B and high C range. She used to get straight A's, however, and so that is important to note. Her grades are getting worse each year.
Powers» Demon Physiology. Basically, when Aura uses her powers she mimics a demon -- a server of the devil.
Mostly, her power strikes fear into those who see her -- it is quite terrifying.
She also has a few "powers" that are included with her demon physiology. I've outlined them in the summation below.
Aura's Demon Physiology powers in summation:
- Demonic appearance (sleek black devil-like horns, razor-sharp teeth, spiked black tail, bat-like wings, blood red lips, black soulless eyes)
- Fear-inducing scream/screech
- `darkness`manipulation wherein she can make the dark a tangible thing under her control. This sometimes appears as a black mist/force that she generally shapes as a clawed hand so it can grab something or push something, etc.
Discovery» Long story short, Aura really wanted to go see a movie with her friends, but her parents would not allow it. "Sunday is God's day," her parents had told her. She was thirteen. She became frustrated and then it just happened. A black smoke engulfed her and when it faded, there stood a demon-like girl with black horns, black wings, dark eyes, horned tail, and red lips. And the rest is history.
Weakness/Vulnerability» Powers: It takes up a lot of energy to use any of the powers associated with her demonic physiology, mainly the darkness manipulation. Also, she is usually relectant to use her powers, so that works against her. When she becomes 'demon-Aura', shall we say, she becomes less like herself. What she does not yet realise is that the more she uses the power, the more it affects her. Also: large wings, cannot fly.
Self: She is quite shy and quiet(or at least she was). She is not very trusting. Turns out she couldn't even trust her parents -- why should she trust you?
Strengths» She is friendly which helps when meeting people. She might not trust them 100%, but she can keep up a conversation and be civil and does not generally dislike anyone. She is also a fantastic swimmer, having been on the Veritas swim team since her first year attending the school back in 9th grade.

Relationship Status» Single. She's not really looking, since she's not all that trusting, but at the same time she is a 16 year old female. She'd like a relationship. She'd like to trust someone. But it would take work.

Additional Information» I've mentioned this already, but her personality will be changing as her powers affect her more. She will be turning darker, and potentially 'evil'. So beware.
