Distinguishing Features» Sylvia has burned in tattoos on her skin that are a light blue, but nobody really noticed in her younger years because she hid them well. Now she shows them, now knowing that they look just like regular inked tattoos.
Clothes» She usually wears bright and vibrant clothes of some sort with dark blue jeans and at least two belts and her black strapped boots. She also wears her lucky charm bracelet that is loaded with different charms. She calls it lucky because she can control her powers better with it on.

Family History» Jack was, to put it lightly, accident prone. His powers always went wrong in some way or another, and everyone made fun of him for it. Even after high school it was a chore to keep his powers hidden as he worked as a police officer. People kept wondering if the police station was haunted due to his acts of accidental telekinesis with objects or something breaking whenever he was overly stressed.
One evening, Jack was shot by a madman that needed to be arrested for his acts of raping and murdering women. When he was sent to the hospital, he met the beautiful healer named Helene who was his nurse for the time that he was in the hospital. After being released from the hospital, he would visit Helene while she was on break and they would talk until her break was over. Their close friendship soon became love. The two ended up having a shotgun wedding while Helene was at least 7 months pregnant with little Sylvia.
Jack and Helene found out about Sylvia’s powers when the babysitter called Jack freaking that their daughter was floating in mid-air. From that point on they had to keep an eye on her and help her control her powers enough to go through elementary and middle school. When the summer before high school came, the Rossi’s received a letter from the Veritas academy about their daughter. Sylvia was the one to convince them to allow her to go, for she thought it would be kind of neat to go to a school with her own … unique kind.

Personality» Sylvia is a very interesting and outgoing young woman. Her friendliness differs from the type of person you are. If you are an all right person and can get along with a lot of people, you’re good with her, but if you get on everyone’s nerves and you’re a jerk or a pervert, say goodbye to Sylvia’s friendship because it’s gone for good. Sylvia also has a very bad temper and may end up hurting someone even if she doesn’t mean to hurt anyone. Once angry her powers can sometimes get a little out of control, but hey, that’s why she’s in Vertias Academy in the first place. She is normally cocky and jokes around sometimes when the setting is right. Even in the more serious situations she will make a joke like, ‘Woah … with breath like that it would give a dentist a heart attack …’ or something like that. Although she may be cocky and overly temperamental, she has a soft spot for her friends and family and will always be loyal to those she cares for no matter what. Though, her loyalty may get her into trouble from time-to-time. Sylvia has a secret that she want s no one to find out, she is a helpless romantic (meaning she is looking for her soul mate). If anyone knew about her helpless romantic heart, her reputation as a cocky woman with a hotheaded temper and the strength to take down someone bigger than her would be ruined.

Academics» She usually gets B’s and C’s in all her classes. Her Italian class, however, she gets a higher level of B’s or even an A sometimes, for she learned how to speak some Italian from her mother. Math and Physics, however, she is barely passing. Luckily she has a good memory and can study well, otherwise she would’ve had to repeat the two.
Powers» Sylvia’s first power she ever had was the ability to hover. It helps if she twists her ankle or can’t reach something. She also has the ability to use telekinesis. Telekinesis is a power that allows the user to control and manipulate objects with the minds, often not visible with the naked eye. Sylvia’s Telekinesis sometimes gets out of control due to her high, and most times, uncontrollable temper.
Discovery» As I stated in the family history, Sylvia discovered her first power when she was at a rather young age. Her babysitter was preparing supper when it happened. Sylvia was is the living room playing with her toys, when randomly she started to float. Although she was unaware of this doing, her babysitter walked in with their food and dropped it to the ground. She couldn’t believe her eyes and right away called her parents. She told them there was something wrong with their daughter, hung up, and ran out as fast as she could with her things. Not long after Helene and Jack walked through the doors and to the living room to find a crying, but still hovering, Sylvia. Soon after, objects in the room began to swirl into a cyclone around her as her frustration and sadness increased. It took all their power to calm her nerves so that nothing, or at least nothing important, broke or was torn apart. Ever since then Helene and Jack tried to keep Sylvia’s temper to a minimum, and taught her how to control her powers long enough to get out of there and cool off.

Additional Information» Due to her Telekinesis ability, her tattoos glow sometimes. When she uses her telekinesis power they turn a bright green like her eyes do. When she's nervous or embarrassed, the just glow the blue that they originally are.
