Distinguishing Features» There is really nothing too distinguishing about Ashton. He's always wanted a tattoo, but every time he tries to draw one it leaps off the page, and he can never show it to a tattoo artist.
Clothes» While in school, Ashton sticks to his uniform. Outside of school and class he'll generally wear sweat pants or shorts, depending on the weather, and a t-shirt.

Siblings» Ashton is an only child. His parents tried for another child when Ashton was a few months old, but Andrea miscarried and they never tried again. Or so Ashton was told.
Family History»
Ashton loves his family, but he loves the freedom he has at Spiritus. A lot of students complain about the strict rules, but Ashton likes the structure. His family is full of artists -- his mother does her art in the kitchen with food, his father does his art with words. The rest of the house is chaos. Not that Ashton dislikes chaos, but when he is surrounded by it it can be a little overwhelming. There were several times where his father would forget about making his lunch for school and his mother would whip something up mid-morning, sending Ashton to school with a gourmet feast. It got old after a while.

Personality» A few words to describe Ashton would be sassy, sacastic, and fun-loving.
Ashton loves life. The idea of it amazes him, and he has never had a depressive day in his life. In a way this can make him naive -- everything fascinates him and he has never been hurt in a way to damage him. He loves to laugh and laughs often. He loves to make others laugh. He loves to have fun.
Ashton's mouth has no sensor. Most of the time he speaks before he thinks, which can get him in trouble, but he usually brushes it off with a grin or doesn't even notice that what he said was a bad thing. He isn't rude, not intentionally. He doesn't see the purpose in rudeness. If he doesn't like someone, he'll simply either not talk to them or brush those negative feelings aside. It's probably the artist in him. He loves to draw and to express himself. Since he can't always with literal drawings (see his powers as to why), he does so with colourful words and phrases or actions.
Likes - life, living, drawing, art, laughing, seeing others laugh and enjoying themselves, talking, all weather, new things, food.
Dislikes - negative energy, people who think the world revolves around them ("It revolves around the sun and we're lucky enough to be along for the ride!"), when he can't get something right (when he's drawing). There's not much he dislikes. He just puts up with everything.

Academics» Ashton does not try his best and he admits it. He's not a huge fan of being stuck inside a classroom and gets distracted easily. He's also pretty sure he's dyslexic, but it's minor and he doesn't want to waste his time going to a doctor who's just going to tell him something he already knows.
Powers» Artistic Animation - Anything he draws becomes real. Exactly as he draws it. The more realistic it is drawn, the more realistic it is created.
Discovery» He was sitting in a park alone and drew a bird. The sketch-bird flew around him a few times before a man walked up to him. The man watched the bird with an unsurprised smile and told Ashton he admired his ability. But that he knew how Ashton could strengthen the power and learn to put more realism into his drawings. He told Ashton the school he worked for offered an amazing art class that Ashton could take every year, as well as a class that would teach Ashton how to perfect his unique power. Ashton jumped at the chance to go and convinced his parents to allow him to move across the country. He moved just after his ninth grade midterms and transfered his credits over.
Weakness/Vulnerability»
The biggest thing that weakens his power is his drawing ability. While he is pretty good at his art, if he doesn't pay attention to detail, his drawing turns our flawed, and then when it comes to life, it comes to life flawed.
Time is of the essence sometimes, but unless he wants to do something sloppy, he needs to spend time and concentration on his drawing in order for it to become successful. So of course if he was in a rush, his powers wouldn't create something all that great.
What he brings to life usually doesn't last long.
As a result of his 'loving life' mantra, Ashton can be pretty naive. He also is dyslexic, and as a result does not often bother with reading. This affects his grades, but it's not something Ashton really worries about.
Strengths» Obviously he's a good artist. He's also a great judge of good food, considering he grew up with a mother who was an amazing cook.

Relationship Status» Single, but he's up for a relationship. He's under the impression they're all fun and games.

Enemies» He doesn't really believe in enemies.
Additional Information» He thinks he is still a virgin, when really he met Spiritus student AJ at a private high school and accidentally raped her because of her powers. His memory of her is a little fuzzy. He remembers working on a school project, and remembers things being weird, but that's all.
