The thought of power caused something inside of Aura to ignite. Power? She had the potential to be very powerful? She liked the sound of the that. What sort of things would she be able to accomplish with her power? How endless were the possibilities? "Is there such a thing as 'too' powerful?" she wondered aloud.
"To be fair, Uriel, I didn't want to use my powers either," she told him. The powers teacher helped some of the other students. But it seemed to be a mutual decision for Aura not to use hers. She scowled when he asked for a kiss again. "Keep dreaming," she told him, unfolding her arms and placing them on her hips. "And are you joking? Respect my powers? What the hell does that even mean?" She narrowed her eyes curiously when he mentioned using her powers tonight. At the theatre? Why? A part of her didn't want to ask, and so she kept her lips shut tight. Maybe it was just some way of him asking her to see a movie with him. She rolled her eyes, but didn't decline. He was making sense now. How was she supposed to show her powers respect when she was never taught to? Aura balled her hands into fists. She would show them respect. They would respect her and they would respect her powers. Her nostrils flared.

Okay, maybe he was a bit disappointed that she didn't give him even one peck on his cheek. He frowned at her, albeit cutely. Those seemed to work on girls. When he looked like a little blonde bunny instead of a menacing Tiger. He chuckled at her yet again. Feisty, really. The way he liked it. Uriel placed his hands behind his head, whistling "Well, they won't respect you by growing damn wings out of your back and giving candy's out now would they?" He smiled. Hoping she'd catch up. Uriel turned to a food stall, and he felt his eyes glow a little bit. He turned to her and said "Well, let's just say...to earn respect...you must first...."
He snapped his look to the side and stared at the stall, the atoms slowly rearranged themselves, and the waves blazed, within a split second, the stall exploded in a psionic wave sort off. As if the pressure caused it to blow up. The shrapnel made their way towards them and he stepped in front of Aura, the shrapnel dissolving to ashes when they reached an inch close to him. He turned to her, and snuck a kiss on her cheek. "Hah. I win. Anyways. It mostly consists of terrorizing humans, cause really. A cute girl walks in with some Russian Blonde guy and starts wrecking shit. Perfect scenario, no one would expect it. Although...I'm going to the theater for a reason, and no. It's not for a date with you. Maybe I'd like that, but it's for another reason." Uriel grabbed a cigarette and with a snap of his finger, the cigar lit with blue flames.
"You see Aura, I pay for my needs myself. And by needs I mean alcohol and firearms stashed underground. And I get them through the black market. I'm sure you know all that shit. But I'm also a Black Market Merchant. I sell...carats and carats of diamonds. My powers help. And I get like...I don't know, million of Dollars. But I'm also a...what do you call this.... A hitman, yeah. That." Uriel nodded and spoke again "And an influential crime figure is here today. He's looking to make transactions. But he's hoping to catch a movie with his lovely wife who of course is also a businesswoman." Uriel rolled his eyes and resumed to speak.
"And no, I don't feel bad about killing them. Their business mostly consists of smuggling slaves and guns underground. And I'm pretty sure that he doesn't know I'm hired to kill him. So an anonymous party is paying me seventy thousand dollars for this kill only. So we if you'd agree, we go to the theater, sneak besides the dude, kill him and you can practice your powers on the imbeciles left. And we split the money, deal?" He smiled at her. "So would you like to be my killing-Spree date?"

Aura watched him closely, wondering what exactly Uriel had up his sleeve. He always seemed to be up to something, or at least for the several minutes she had known him. When he blew up the hot dog stand she jumped and stared in wide-eyed horror as the pieces blew everywhere and people around screamed. Someone whipped out their cellphone to call 911, but shrapnel flew towards them and Aura didn't pay attention. Suddenly Uriel was in front of her and the shrapnel became ash, falling calmcly to the ground. She watched them over his shoulder and was too stunned to move, her heart pounding in her chest. Then suddenly Uriel was turned around and pecked her cheek. She blinked and looked at him, a deep frown on her face. "You just... You just blew that thing up and now you're kissing my cheek?" she blurted, shaking her head. Was this all really happening?
She didn't say much else, just listened as he went on about underground operations and money and being a hitman.
"Let me get this straight," she said, stopping under a tree. "I mean, just slow down a minute, will you?" She grabbed his arm and pressed her palm over his mouth so he would stop talking for a moment. "You've been hired, as a hitman, to kill this crime person. And you want me to help you? For cash?" She stared disbelievingly at him. Then heard herself saying. "I'll go with you if you stop trying to kiss me." A part of her really wanted to help him, anyway. The guy was bad, so why not? And though she did not want to admit it, the kill sounded tempting.

Ah, a major setback. Was hard not to try and kiss her. But whatever, he needed help anyways. Uriel delightfully smiled and jumped "Okay then, I didn't tell you this before but the fagface Gavin Maddox is with us. So. I hope you don't mind that...anyways, tonight, seven o'clock, and when hitmen says seven o'clock they mean seven o'clock. Meet me at this address." Uriel handed her a piece of paper before he sprinted away, and slowly, the mic on his shirt glowed and he spoke "Yes, target is secured, Comrade. That damn svoloch is about to meet his end tonight. Good bye." And if she would look at the paper, behind it was his number. Suave to the end.

She could see the slightly disappointment on his face at her one condition and she smirked. He was pretty ridiculous, but it was almost endearing in a way. Still... A hitman? What had she gotten herself into?
At the mention of Gavin Maddox, she gaped. Gavin? The memory of their meeting in the lake flashed through her mind and she clamped her mouth shut, only nodding. She could handle that. Besides, was it not Gavin who had first convinced her that embracing her powers was the way to go? That she was given them for a reason, so why not use them? "Seven it is," she repeated in a whisper, staring at the paper. She knew where that was. When she looked up, he was already walking away.
She looked back down at the paper and folded it in half, and when she did she noticed numbers. His phone number. She shook her head. Tonight would be interesting, to say the least.
