Family History» For as long as Monroe can remember, he's lived with his mother who makes a living as a child psychologist. They've always gotten along for the most part, but Monroe always got the feeling that she kept a lot of things hidden from him. His mother didn't believe him about the dreaming thing at first, thinking Monroe was just falling asleep in class and making up an excuse. (He has the tendency to be a bit of a troublemaker) and eventually believed him when he fell into a dream of hers and told her so.
She sent him to the school to hopefully help him since the dreams had began to take a toll on him. She calls to check up on him and cares about him and his well-being, but is mostly confused about his ability.

Personality» Monroe, in a nutshell, is a bit eccentric. He has a sarcastic sense of humor and is very articulate and lively. He takes pride in how he dresses, but likes to keep his hair messy and a little longer. It drove his mother crazy, but he likes it. It just seemed to fit him. He's pretty amicable for the most part, a little mysterious when you don't know him that well. Most people find his behavior strange, for he tends to say weird things and keep his distance from people because he doesn't like knowing things about their inner desires and turmoil that come out in their dreams. It's awkward. He often makes jokes about his ability saying "Everybody dreams about me" just to act as if it doesn't bother him.
He's mostly private and keeps to himself like his mother when it comes to personal matters or thoughts and only divulges them to people he really trusts. He's the kind of guy that is neutral on a lot of things. He finds conflict annoying and would rather just be carefree and throw random colors of paint on a canvas.
Likes - The color black, social sciences, hats, coffee, skateboarding, heavy metal music, classical music (he has clashing tastes), cold weather, painting, and art.
Dislikes - Not being able to control his ability, knowing too much about others, things that are way too practical like math, alarm clocks, really strict rules, people who are closed-minded.

Academics» Monroe's not really exceptional in school, nor is he a poor student or slacker. He just likes certain subjects more than others and excels in certain areas. He's very good with art and social sciences. He generally gets B's.
Powers» Monroe is a dreamwalker. At least, that's what he's come to call it. He's susceptible to falling into sleep when people around him within a close distance fall asleep. He falls into their dreams and becomes apart of them, aware of what's going on. He hasn't exactly figured it out yet, but is trying his hardest as it confuses him. It also makes things quite difficult when he can't control it and he's falling asleep at random all the time. Nightmares are more challenging to pull out of than any random dream he falls into. He wonders if he can pick and choose which one he enters. These people whose dreams he has entered can see him and think he's a part of the dream. He's always had a sort of interest in the unconscious mind, but this gives a whole new meaning to Freud's theories. There are probably more to his powers, but he doesn't want to explore it.
Discovery» He was in middle school when it started happening. Kids would fall asleep in class and in an instant, he'd be gone as well and he'd find himself in someone's dream. At first it scared him and he didn't know what to make of it. He thought he was dreaming his own dreams, but he wasn't. He got in trouble quite often for this at school, but it was something that was really hard to prove to people, unless he entered one of their dreams and they believed that it was him.
Weakness/Vulnerability» Power: With dreamwalking, he has a weakness in always falling into the dreams whether he wants to or not. He's learning how to pull out of them, but it's difficult. He also has a kink with his power that makes it dangerous including things happening in the dreams he walks in affecting him in real life.
Personality: He has trouble knowing when to joke and when to take things seriously. It's a very blurred line for him.
Strengths» He's very intuitive and in touch with other people, a deep thinker, carefree (of course, not when he's dealing with his ability), painting and sculpting.
