Family History» Mace comes from a boisterous family. He is the second oldest of five boys. So needless to say things were always a bit crazy around the Whitfield household. His parents encouraged them to get involved in an array of activities and because of that Mace played soccer, hockey and rugby. A lot of these sports started out as fun between him and his brothers in the backyard before he began playing on teams. He's used to fighting for food at the dinner table and being annoyed the shit ouf of by his younger siblings. Why his parents had all boys, he doesn't know, but he's sure the Universe was cruel. The family is tight knit even if they are always yelling at one another and getting into arguments over really stupid things. Not to mention all the practical jokes. His parents are still married and very much in love and Mace always wonders how they managed with five sons.

Personality» Mace is a not so serious guy with a troublemaker streak. He's obsessed with pranking people and claims it's because his birthday falls on April Fools Day. He's all about having fun and worrying about everything later. It's not always such a good approach to things, but that's Mace for you. He loves making other people laugh, although sometimes his jokes are only funny to him. He loves all sorts of games and pretty much goes paintballing and rockclimbing every weekend. He loves a good thrill and is the king of procrastination. Despite his wacky personality, he is very protective of family or those he holds dear, especially his cousin Mikayla, who lost her eyesight years ago. He's always trying to get her to be more adventurous like he is.
Likes - Paintballing, Rock climbing, sports, pranking, concerts, pizza, weekends.
Dislikes - Sitting around, partypoopers, homework, going to classes, nagging.

Academics» Mace does his schoolwork eventually and usually ends up with B's or C's. He manages to mostly keep a balance between fun and work, mostly.
Powers» Probability Manipulation. He can cause unlikely things to happen or likely things not to happen. He can also influence others' luck and his own.
Discovery» He was playing poker with a group of friends in late middle school. One of his friends, Max, every one made fun of because he could never win the game and was horrible at it. Without even realizing it, Mace influenced the probability of Max winning and the unlikely event happened.
Weakness/Vulnerability» In relation to his power, he always be in the right place at the right time, but he can also be in the wrong place at the right time. He doesn't know how to make it one or the other because he doesn't influence good or bad luck, but just probability in general. It's a hard power to gain control of, especially since it's connected to his thoughts and emotions. He could cause something extremely bad to happen just be experiencing a small fit of anger. He has streaks of really good luck and...really bad luck.
Pertaining to his personality, Mace has a hard time concentrating. He's also sometimes borderline stupid with his crazy ideas. He's also a big procrastinator.
Strengths» Mace is a really friendly guy and he makes friends well. He is also very skilled at sports and physically fit. He's also fiercely protective.

Relationship Status» Single, although he just got out of a relationship about 8 months ago with a girl who didn't attend Spiritus or Veritas. It was hard to keep the secret of what the school actually was from her and he found that when they had arguments he'd get angry and accidentally influence the odds of bad things happening to her. One night she got into a car accident. Mace is convinced that he's responsible for it and that he manipulated the probability of it happening.
