Jade had just gotten out of history class and she made her way through the halls, anxious to get outside to have a cigarette. For some reason, it always helped her unwind after class. She was almost to the doors at the end of the hallway when she felt eyes on her. Her eyes darted around landing on several people who were following a tall guy with a confident swagger. What, did he have followers or something? She locked eyes with them, wondering who they were. She hadn't seen them around before and they seemed to look angry, expressions of pain on their faces.
They looked back at her with wide eyed expressions and that's when she knew what that meant. They were looking at her as if to say 'You can see me.' It was typical with a lot of spirits Jade met and these ones weren't here for good reasons, she could tell. It seemed as if they were angry and haunting somebody, but what had this guy done to them?
She couldn't stop staring, narrowing her eyes and wondering what these people were doing following him around. Did they want revenge? Or...what?
She hadn't even realized she'd stopped walking, standing in the middle of the hall to stare.

"You might want to talk a bit louder, I can't you what your saying!" Lucas spat at the people whispering about him, his grey eyes watching them all closely. "Chose your words carefully otherwise I will have to make sure you won't have the ability to talk for much longer." He warned, turning on his heel. Class had just finished, and Lucas was walking towards the weight room with the plan of working on his arms. His expression was set to a piercing scowl, a warning for other students to stay clear of him. He walked, shoulders back, head held high and a gleam in his eyes, as if he owned the place. It was his first day at Veritas, and he had not touched a signal person yet. His uncle would be glad of that, not that Lucas could give a rats ass what his uncle thought of him. He did not care for other peoples opinions. He felt a pair of eyes on him from behind as he walked. He stopped walking and turned his head to see who was staring at him, ready to ask what the HECK their problem was. He bite his tongue when he saw a pretty girl standing in the middle of the hallway staring at him. "Why, hello there beautiful. Something up?" He asked with a lazy smile.

Jade didn't even hear him threatening the people around her, she was too concentrated on the spirits hovering around the guy. She felt what they felt and it wasn't anything good. It was all bitter emotions and it was an intense feeling that sent her reeling. It had been a while since she encountered a spirit that was here for a completely negative reason, but these spirits were definitely not watching over this guy. They were haunting him.
"Uh," she stammered, tuning back in when the guy turned around to look at her. There was a smile on his face and he seemed to be waiting for her to answer. Normally Jade would have said something about the 'beautiful' comment, but she wasn't in her right mind. Not when she could see these spirits. She wanted to ask them questions, but knew that she couldn't in front of this guy. Well, she could, but...wait, since when did she care what others thought? Still, she kept her mouth clamped shut, merely observing. "Sorry." Who was this guy? Who were these people? They were all sorts of different ages, some men, some women.
