Mother» Valerie Petrov is mixed Ukranian and Russian descent, Her mother was Ukranian, her father, Russian. She met Nikolev an their church, and they get along reasonably well. She stresses the importance of English, and refuses to allow Nikolev to speak Russian in front of the girls. She is very likely to stay at home, where she excels in domestic skills, which she tries to pass to her daughters.
Father» Nikolev Petrov is a new immigrant from Russia. He is very conservative, very demanding, and very strict. He demands excellence of Ingrid and Valentina, and often receives it, due to his temper.
Siblings» Valentina Petrov is Ingrid's twelve year old sister, who is very very apt with electronics. She's able to repair almost any type of electrical item, from an old wind up radio to rewiring her bedroom.
Family History» Valerie was the first of the two in Canada, she was born there. Nikolev came over on his own as a young adult, seeking to build a new life. He met Valerie in their church community, and they married soon after. First cam Ingrid, always dedicated and quiet, then Valentina, talkative and effortlessly brilliant. For years, Ingrid's family had felt more sluggish as a whole whenever someone was injured or sick, and Ingrid felt it most of all. It took a very long time for them to realize what was going on, and that was when her family felt it best she attend a private school so that she could learn to control it and not let it control her, and the effects spill out into their lives.

Personality» Ingrid is a very very responsible young adult, and often times her face is shadowed by sorrow or by focus. She's very intense a person, and very self reliant. She is caring, but very unwilling to form any attachments to people, due to the fact her power is likely to spill over to them and weaken them when she needs to draw on the power. She is more than willing to help a stranger, or to share her own personal beliefs, which she holds very strongly, if not quietly. She's very friendly, but forming any sort of meaningful relations she finds difficult. She can get very angry when someone does some sort of senseless killing, due to the fact it affects her powerfully, creating a need for her to draw on other energy to heal what she can. She's very studious, and spends more time with books than doing something active. Volunteering her time is something she does a lot of, but Ingrid has recently made an effort to be more sociable, and is looking into cheer or possibly swimming. If someone does decide to be irresponsible, Ingrid quietly marks it against the person and will quickly allow her cold anger to grow and explode.

Discovery» Ingrid really ever first discovered her power when her sister nearly died in a car crash, when they were walking. Ingrid felt a surge of energy, like nothing she'd ever felt, and promptly lost consciousness. Her sister was able to get up like nothing had happened, and came to see if Ingrid was alright. After a series of tests at the hospital, doctors could find nothing wrong, and when she described the event for her parents, they began to think she might have done something significant, and due to vague rumours, they enrolled her in Spiritus.
Weakness/Vulnerability» As far as her power goes, she's limited by the available energy as well as her own strength. She dislikes irresponsibility, as well as shirking duties, and she will very quickly and harshly correct it. She is very unwilling to enter into any sort of relationships beyond temporary.
Strengths» Studious, dedicated, and very responsible and mature. These are Ingrid's best qualities, and her overriding ones.
