Siblings» A younger sister, and an older brother and sister that are twins.
Family History» Chase has a big family that get along pretty well. His parents are very easy-going and his mother and two of his siblings are (or want to be) artists. His parents see his power as just another form of art, like painting images with the air as your canvas. They think it's a great thing and Chase generally agrees. His oldee siblings are in college, but the rest of his family live in an apartment in Montreal.

Personality» Chase is somewhat arrogant. He loves his power and considers himself better than others because of it. He finds it very entertaining to mess with people with his power, and does it a little too much. Also, partially because of his power and maybe partially because he's an artist he is very attentive to detail and can tell by a person's reactions and the way they act how they feel about something. He is very hard to lie too or pretend to be something you're not, and he knows it, liking to lord his abilities over others. He does have a weak side though, and is scared of commitment, and letting people get to know who he is inside, other than the brash exterior. He's never really has close relationships with anyone outside of his family, and he sort of likes it that way. He is, however, sociable, and loves to be surrounded by people, as long as he feels in control.
Likes -
-Art. Painting or drawing. Alone in the art studio is his happy place.
-Showing off his power
-Music. Loud dancey hip-hop.
-Kissing, as long as there's no strings attached.
-People, crowds. He grew up in the city and is just sociable in general.
-Feeling appreciated.
Dislikes -
-People that know him too well.
-His power being seen through, especially with an audience.
-Quiet/being alone for too long, unless he's making art. Libraries are a pain.
-Being pushed into something he doesn't want to do. He's a bit of a control freak.

Academics» The only class he really tries hard in is art, he just gets passing grades in the others. He knows he can get an art scholarship to a good school, and doesn't really bother with othee classes, even though he's never failed anything. He just doesn't really care.
Powers» Illusions/mirages. They aren't tangible, so you can find out they're not real by trying to touch them, because your hand will just go through. They don't cast shadows, but Chase has learned to give them shadows that are the right shape and size. He can make moving ones, but he's not great at making them realistic and can mostly do repeating motion, like water with ripples or tree branches moving in the wind.
Discovery» When he was little Chase didn't know the things he made weren't real, or even that he made them. He wanted a road on the floor for his toy car, and there it was. He wanted his teddy bear to be blue for a day, and it was. Once he got older he realized that things like that didn't happen for everyone, and noticed his family being surprised by the illusions. Gradually he figured out how his power worked, though he only gained good control of it once he came to Veritas freshman year. His family’s known about for a while before he came to the school, and just accepted it as part of life.
Weakness/Vulnerability» Chase has to know every detail of something before he can recreate it, and if he doesn't parts could be missing or look wrong. He can't really create an illusion of something he's never seen. With people, he isn’t very good at acting kind or compassionate and is like that cold intimidating popular guy that no one really knows well enough. He doesn’t have a best friend or a serious girlfriend, and isn’t good at connecting with people.
Strengths» Chase is very confident. He’s not afraid to take on big things or take risks. He’s very good at art, and could be good at his other classes, if he tried.
