Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out!Oceaniana looked sensational wearing a strapless Michael Kors pink gown, teamed with Michael Kors gold triple strap sandals from the Resort 2012 collection. She kept it simple with a diamond bracelet. Her wavy long hair and pink lip gloss completed her look, and made her look normal. Nobody would be able to guess where she had been the last two weeks. She looked like perfection, as she always did. She looked nothing like what she felt inside. Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! There's nothing to panic about! She had tried to mentally prep herself for this moment since yesterday, but she was still as nervous as a turkey coming up to Thanksgiving day. Opening the doors, she smiled. Christmas had always been her favorite time of the year, and Veritas had done such an amazing job with the decorations. There was even fake snow on the floor! Ocean stepped into the Auditorium, letting the door slam shut behind her. The sound riveted around the room and through the playing music. That would surely get her some attention. Cold. Calculated. Manipulative. Ice Queen Oceaniana Laura Riddle-Forrester. She had to put on her persona and not let her weakness shine through. She had not heard anything from Uriel since she had disappeared the night they had gone out clubbing together, and she had wondered whether he was at the Snow ball or not. Had her godfather fired him? And what about Mikayla? Sweet, kind Mikayla. Ocean hadn't contacted her either. She had missed her friend dearly, but she had not been allowed to contact anyone. The institute she had been in had cut her off from the outside world. No. Nobody could know where she had been. Let them ask. Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out! Breath in, one.. two.. three.. four... breath out!

"Sexual innuendo? Please. A breast stoke is a swimming stroke and nothing more. Now on the other hand, if you switch around the words then we'd have a problem if I was stroking her breasts. Well, actually you'd have a problem." He smirked at Uriel before flashing a grin at Sapphire. "Fiery girl she is. Slightly insane. Perfect for you."
The corners of his lips twitched at Uriel's joke about Aura. "She better show up. She can't ruin the dream team." His eyes kept scanning the crowd for his devil in a red dress. Yeah, so she probably wouldn't approve of him calling her his, but oh well.
He turned back to Uri, eyeing up the vial in his hands. "The punch bowl is your best bet." It would be hilarious to see the underclassmen stumbling around drunk.

Ella wiped a fake tear from her eyes. "Oh Adaryn. You look absolutely stunning," she sighed contently, and shook her head as she looked adoringly at her friend. "Now listen I have to go do something real quick but I'll be RIGHT back. You can use my curling iron or something if you want to fix up your hair. Or borrow some earings. I don't care. Go crazy," she slipped on her heels, and headed out the door before Adaryn would even have the chance to ask her where she was going or what she was doing. All El knew is that the hardest part of her plan had been accomplished - assuming Adaryn didn't try to weasel her way out of going while she was gone.
El strutted her way through the halls to the boy's wing. She ignored any and all looks she got, never really one to bask in attention. She just liked when she looked at herself and she looked good. She knocked a couple times on Monroe's door, then waited for him to answer as she inspected her fingernails which she hadn't managed to stop biting to make them look nice for the dance.

Monroe was tired. Even if Adaryn had taken energy without his permission a while ago, he still always felt like he was on the verge of falling asleep standing up. He was laying on his bed, his legs up on the wall and his large headphones over his ears, blasting music from his iPod that lay on his stomach. Metal music. That kept him awake...most of the time. The thing was, he could probably sleep. Not many people would be sleeping right now. It was the night of the snow ball after all. He wouldn't fall into any dreams, but now Cain lurking around made him paranoid. How was he to know if he could manipulate the dream again or if that's what even happened in the first place?
Still, he felt himself drifting off as a song ended and in between that and the next song, there were several knocks on his door. He wondered if one of his roommates forgot their key and were coming back for something that they'd also forgotten.
He couldn't remember how many times he told Eloise that he wasn't going to the dance. School dances? Lots of people? Dressy clothes? Sure, Monroe liked to look good, he was fairly stylish in his opinion, despite the fact that he almost always had bags under his eyes, but dances weren't really his thing and after all that had happened to him lately, he had to say that he wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of doing anything other than staring at his wall and listening to loud music. And it wasn't just the whole getting daggered in a dream and bleeding to death. Adaryn had gotten asked to the ball by an upperclassmen, some tall guy with dark hair. He'd seen it happen. Honestly, he'd been thinking of asking her to just kick back and hang out or something instead of going to the dance. Watch a movie, eat food. He didn't really know, but he decided against it. What girl would say no to an upperclassmen?
He'd been mostly on his own for the past few days, only being in his dorm when his roommates weren't there, doing pointless things and trying to think through things, still trying to figure out what had happened in that last dream.
"Door's open, idiot!" he shouted at his roommate who wouldn't realize it. The guy was a dumbass sometimes. Besides, Monroe was slightly irritable from a variety of things.

Eloise rolled her eyes and opened the door. She replied sassily in a mimicking voice "I wouldn't want to walk in on you naked, idiot." She placed a hand on her hip and looked at the state of Monroe. She couldn't help but chuckle. "My don't you look extraordinarily comfy."
She took a couple more steps into the room. "Now it's time for you to get up and get dressed for the dance. Because I know you're not going to take advantage of this time to sleep anyway, and I'm not letting you sulk in your room alone all night because you're miffed about some jerk-off asking Adaryn to the dance before you could" She looked at Monroe with knowing eyes, wondering if he was going to be in just as much denial as Ad was earlier.

The voice that Monroe heard when the door opened wasn't what he expected. He turned around, kicking his feet off of the wall and practically fell off of the bed as he tried to look at her. "El?" he asked, taking off his headphones. Loud music still played from them.
There was a hand on her hip and she'd thrown back some comment along with the insult of idiot because he'd done it first. "Sorry," he muttered sheepishly. "Thought you were one of my roommates. We're not too friendly with one another."
He had been comfy, until now. "My, don't you look extraordinarily uncomfortable," he said in response, mocking her with a roll of his eyes. He never understood how girls could wear dresses and be comfortable. Monroe liked comfort. Then again, he was a guy and not everything could be sacrificed to look good.
What came next would have made his jaw drop if he didn't know Eloise fairly well. She was really blunt when she wanted to be and this was one of those times. "I'm not going to the snow ball, El. I don't dance, they play stupid music, and nobody would approve of my clothing choices." It was all the truth after all. "And I'm not sulking, mind you. I'm tired. I'm always tired." And miffed. And freaked out. And annoyed. And a bunch of other things.
Her eyes were set upon him so seriously as she said that last bit. "I wasn't going to ask her to the dance. I don't do dances." He had to state it again, but he was going to ask her to hang out because Adaryn didn't seem like the type to want to go either, but...some older guy had convinced her. "I was gonna ask if she wanted to ditch the dance and just hang out, but that didn't happen. And I wasn't about to ask you when you were ranting about getting a dress weeks ago." But yes, he was slightly miffed about the elder guy asking Adaryn. "Anyway, I'm not going."

Sapphire
The first thing that ran through Sapphire's mind when he walked up was, 'Oh sweet Moter Russia ...' She rolled her eyes at his lame sexual comment and crossed her arms, making her chest stand out just a bit more (she can't help it XD). "No," Sapphire replied to Uriel as she glared at Gavin, "I won't, nor will I ever, let you touch my chest. Ever." Though her mind turned to Uriel when he pulled out a bottle of silver liquid. She had seen this bottle before. Uriel had used the same liquid on a certain drug dealer they had to kill, so he put it in the man's drink to make it easier to kill him, for fat drunk men do not run as fast, or scream as loudly. Sapphire let out a small smirk. "Planning on messing up someone's night, kochana? Or maybe more than one?" This is what she loved about Uriel, well, one out of a lot of things why she loved him anyway.
Byron
It was going to be a good night. He was hanging with his friends, the decorations were awesome, and at least his sister was able to enjoy the ball. His brother, Tyron, on the other hand, was in the hospital. He had been in a coma for the last month because of a car crash they were in. Luckily, they all survived or else nor Byron or Lidaya would be here enjoying this snowy dance night.

"Oh God," Ella sighed. "Your brooding is effecting MY mood and I'm not even the empathetic one. You need to pull yourself together." Ella took off her shoes and tossed them to the side, helping herself into Monroe's closet similarly to how she went into her own to find Adaryn's dress.
"You're such a GUY you know that?" she asked as she looked through his clothes, "so much black..." she muttered. Which was fine. She'd make it work. "Both of you have been driving me crazy with the internal moaning and groaning, and you both need to get out of your rooms and do something fun." She pulled out a black button down, and black dress pants. She turned to Monroe again. "Adaryn didn't say yes, you know. As in she said no. N-O. To make it clear. SHE ISN'T GOING WITH THAT GUY." She handed Monroe the clothes at arms length.
"So put these on. Make yourself pretty. And let's get both of you in a better mood," she insisted. "I know it's not exactly your definition of a good time, but apparently I'm the only one in this relationship whose willing to do anything." She paused, looking at the shoes Monroe had left near his bed. "Also please tell me you have nicer shoes than those goddamn combat boots...."

"Sorry that I'm not in the best mood after being stabbed to death a few nights ago," Monroe shot back, although it wasn't in a rude voice, more so in a casual tone. Eloise knew what had happened, but then again, he also couldn't sit in his room forever. Well, he could, but they wouldn't stop Cain that way.
He sat up, watching as she walked over to his closet. "El, you can't just-" he protested, but she already had his closet doors open and was rummaging through it. It was like his mother was picking out his clothes when he was little all over again. That's what the action reminded him of. And for a moment, he missed her.
"Yeah, I'm a guy. Thanks for noticing," he said, a bit confused as she pulled a black button down and black pants out of his closet. He didn't even know he had those dress pants honestly and he was wondering how Eloise managed to find them. They must have been in the way back of the closet, practically untouched.
He was about to say something more about how it wasn't okay for her to dig through his closet when she said Adaryn wasn't going with that guy. "She isn't?" Man, he felt dumb. He hadn't even questioned it. He'd just assumed and what was it that his mother said? Never to assume anything about women because it always ended badly. How right she was...
He stood up, climbing off of the bed and grabbed the clothes from her outstretched hand. Damnit, he should have still asked her to just hang out, but then again, he was worried that Adaryn still hadn't warmed up enough to him yet. She was hard to get to know. It was hard work.
He rose an eyebrow at 'make yourself pretty' and shook his head. "Fine, I'll go. " And then he followed her gaze to the floor. "If I'm going to this, I'm going on my own terms and that means I'm wearing my combat boots." What was she talking about? They were nice! They cost him a good chunk of cash and they were comfortable and stylish. He wouldn't be Monroe without his combat boots.
He bent down and picked them up, smirking in Ella's direction. "I'll change, but unless you want a free show, I suggest you wait outside."

She had not used her powers since the chaos and destructions she, Gavin, and Uriel had wreaked at the movie theatre. But she wanted to. Luckily they had planned to cause some more havoc at the Snow Ball, and so she decided she would not hate going.
To be completely honest, she liked the idea of a ball. The part of her that was not evil and demonic longed for someone to ask her, perhaps Gavin, but that part of her was no longer in control. She was still into Gavin, of course, but she approached it differently. She still owed him something from their bet, and she would have no problem giving it to him... But it was fun to watch him beg. Plus the more human side of her was shy about it. Luckily for everyone, that side of her was slowly fading away. Or rather, unluckily for everyone except Aura and Gavin.
She had to go out and buy a dress for the occassion, because her closet was home to many 'good girl' outfits, and what she had in mind for the ball was definitely not in that category. With the money she had earned from Uriel, she had plenty to spend on a dress, and so for once did not worry about the cost. In the end she picked a fairly simple dress from a shop in town. It was red, a colour she was growing to love, and strapless. It went down to her mid-thighs. With it she wore black gloves she had found in another shop, as well as black nylons and a pair of black wedges. All together, the outfit was hot. She never really paid this much attention to what she wore, but she wanted to have fun with it.
One of her roommates saw her outfit and told her outright that it was not something one wore to a ball, but Aura had ignored her. She wasn't trying to fit in, anyway.
When she walked into the auditorium that had been transformed into the ballroom, it did not take her long to spot her partners in crime. Uriel was holding some sort of liquid that Gavin seemed really interested in. By the way they were eyeing the punch bowl, she knew exactly what it was. She smirked and walked over to them. And then she saw the girl Uriel had by his side. She ignored her. "Hey guys," she said, smirking at the concoction Uriel held. "I hope you weren't about to start without me. So what's this?" she asked, reaching for the vial.

Ella smirked as she walked over to pick up her shoes. "You know... its AHMAZING how quickly you changed your mind when you found out Adaryn isn't going with that Junior." She raised and eyebrow, and slipped her shoes back on.
"Ew gross..." she muttered when he jokingly offered her a free show. "Listen just meet me outside the auditorium ok? I forgot my purse in my room." She smiled, considering commenting on the boots again, but deciding against it as it may turn Monroe off from going again. Him being there was more important than his footwear.
She walked back down the halls and to her room, letting herself inside. "Hey are you almost ready?" she asked Adaryn, even more excited now that Monroe was going. It was all falling into place.

"So, she's just going with you? She actually agreed to go on her own? Or...rather you forced her to, didn't you?" Monroe knew Eloise well enough to guess that's what happened. He shook his head at her. "Whatever, okay? I'm still trying to get to know her. I don't want to scare her off, okay? So just calm down on the love train, El. It's not even boarding yet." He couldn't believe he'd just made that ridiculous analogy. It was the exhaustion... Ugh. He rubbed his temples.
"Yeah, yeah, I'll meet you there," he told Eloise just before she left, turning around and stripping down his clothes to pull on the black dress pants. He rummaged through his closet for a white beater, finally finding one and then buttoned up his black shirt over it. He pulled on his combat boots next, taking an extra few minutes to lace them before catching a look of himself in the mirror and quickly turning away. Damn bags under his eyes. He crossed the room to pick up his abandoned fedora that was on the ground and placed it over his head. His hair hadn't been particularly messy so he'd left it as it was before heading out the door. He couldn't believe he'd agreed to this.

Adaryn really do much to herself except for add a few loose curls and pin a bit of the front back so it would stay out of her face. She wasn't really into makeup all that much, in fact, she didn't even own any. But to make Eloise happy, she had put on some eyeliner (it was the one thing her mother taught her as a way to try and bond) just to bring out her eyes a bit. As for earrings? She didn't like wearing them, but if Eloise insisted on them when she came back, she would have her look for some.
Eloise came back pretty quickly, and she wondered what business she had to attend to, but figured she shouldn't ask. It seemed to make her much happier anyway, so why would she worry about it? "Yeah, basically. You're skin is darker than mine so I didn't use any foundation. But I did put on eyeliner, so I think I will look..." She tried to find the right word. "Presentable." She decided, turning around to show what she had done. For someone who hadn't put on makeup for a while, she had done her eyeliner surprisingly well, even doing the top lid as well. Eloise would probably be shocked. Adaryn smiled a bit. "So?"

The atmosphere lightened a bit when Gavin explained what he meant by that. Sighing hard, Uriel smiled when Sapphire adjusted her chest, and he not so subtly licked his lips when he saw her do that. Uriel snuck up besides her and slung his arm around his Woman and laughed "Don't worry, this Mudak won't do anything. Now go and dance with them. I don't want you taking part of the scheme." Uriel brushed a hair out of Sapphire's face and ushered her off before speaking. "Punch bowl. Right. But my finger print will be all over the damn vial if that happens. We need to inject it in a different way. Preferably from afar. I have a way to propel it down." Uriel grabbed a hold of small tranquilizer gun. Uriel twisted it in his hand and inserted the serum on the side of the gun, the serum fit, and with that, the needle dart was filled with the silvery liquid. Uriel turned to the side and saw a rather sexy and devilish looking Aura walking.
"Yes, Satan and Satan's wife. The needle dart will shoot the liquid to the punch, after a few seconds, the men will start dancing wildly and the women will start shouting. Now I need for you two to clear a way for me, and I won't have a problem shooting the dart. Make sure no one sees. I'd hate to wreak the ball." And with that, Uriel placed the dart gun on the pocket of his suit before waiting for them to think of a way.A chesquire smile on his lips. However, the sound of the door slamming caught his attention and Uriel raised a brow before turning to the direction. And of course, it was Oceaniana.
He did not expect that. Uriel remember the kiss they shared at the club when Sapphire was gone and she just went poof. Uriel didn't know why, though. It was probably cause she was humiliated? He was actually confused. Uriel stepped out of the way, without warning and made a beeline towards Oce, the people standing out of his way. He could feel his own perfume spinning in the air as he basically stomped his way to Oce He spent days, trying to track her down and yet his uncle told him that she was in safe hands. He tracked her down still, and he did. But of course, she returned. Uriel crossed his arms, stopping next to her. But as if a surprise, he threw an arm around her shoulder.
"Miss Oceaniana" He pulled her closer and smiled. "Finally found you, been looking for you for a long long time. Where have you been?" Uriel asked and pecked her cheek. He wasn't ashamed of doing that really. he liked to show affection every once in a while

Oceaniana spotted Uriel walking towards her and her million dollar smile made an appearance. "Uriel," she arched a eyebrow, "Been looking for me have you? Not done a good job if you didn't find me." She pointed out, joining him in a hug. "I've been.. you know... places." She shrugged. He could ask questions if he wanted. Maybe she would give up and tell him where she had been. "Look at this place, it's beautiful isn't it?"
