Gavin sent Uriel a glare. "You think I want your Russian counterpart? I'll admit, she's got quite a body on her, but I've already got somebody in mind, so how about you turn down the jealousy?" His glare quickly melted into a smile as Uriel released Sapphire and turned to him. "Smart idea." He nodded in approval. Sure, Uriel was annoying and beyond out of control, but he had a good ideas. Gavin would at least get him that. Then he caught Uriel's gaze drifting and he turned to see Aura had approached, looking rather sultry in her short red dress and tights.
"Damn Morgan," he said with a nod of approval. If you were going to go to a lame dance at Veritas, that was the way to attend. She was a bombshell. He smirked at Uriel's nicknames for them and listened to his plan. "Okay, that should be easy enough. I could just paralyze everybody around us. Of course...that might give me a lot of enemies." He shrugged. He had plenty regardless. He stopped talking as he saw that Uriel seemed to be mesmerized by something and had walked away towards a girl in a pink gown that looked incredibly expensive. Ah yes, Oceania. He knew just about everybody at Spiritus and how could he not know about the cheerleader?
He turned to Aura. "Well, seems as if we've lost Mikhail. Do you have any ideas?" he asked her, his gaze shifting once in a while towards Uriel and Oceania. "Damn, he gets around. Leskov and now Riddle-Forrester?" He was shaking his head.

"Ad you look frickin' amazing," Eloise said super seriously. It was probably the most genuine thing she had said in a while, considering most of her recent conversation involved convincing both Adaryn and Monroe to go to the dance. "Like.... really frickin' amazing." She smiled at her friend and the hairs she had curled and the little bit of makeup she had put on. It wasn't a lot but it was perfect for Adaryn.
"Let's go!" El said excitedly, bouncing on her toes a bit. She didn't even have a purse to grab, or anything. She had just come to get Adaryn so they could walk down together. They both looked gorgeous. El couldn't wait to see Monroe's face when he saw Adaryn.

Monroe was standing outside the auditorium doors, hearing the pop music blasting inside. He kept shifting his weight from one leg to the other and looking down at his combat boots, still slightly offended by what Eloise had said about them. He didn't really want to be there because the music wasn't something he liked and there were way too many people around. Still, at least he didn't have to worry about falling into a dream because everybody would probably be up all night. That was the plus.
He kept peering down the corridor, looking for Eloise's blonde curls or Adaryn's dark hair, but he only saw countless other people making their way towards the doors. He felt stupid standing here, most of all he felt stupid that Eloise had convinced him to come.

The moment Eloise complimented her, her cheeks went red. It wasn't every day that Adaryn heard those words come out of anyone's mouth. Usually she would go and dismiss it, saying that Eloise had to say those things, but Ella was by far the most honest person she had ever met. She was blunt and brutal sometimes, which came with the package, but you knew that if Eloise said something, she was dead serious. Part of her wanted to feel like the most gorgeous girl in the world because Ella said that, but the other half told her of what everyone else had said and thought. But to avoid conflict, Adaryn just smiled bashfully and said "Thanks."
Adaryn didn't even get a chance to look back in the mirror before Eloise was bouncing on her toes. "Alright. Let's...go." The only thing she could think about was how she hoped she didn't regret going with her. Dances really weren't her thing, but because Eloise refused to accept no, she found herself going anyway. Really, all she really wanted to do was read or watch TV or something. But she would have to trust Ella because she was always there for her. Why wouldn't she be now? They headed to the Auditorium, their arms looped together, heading to see the spectacular get up of the Snow Ball in person.

Sapphire was wandering the dance floor, rejecting and pushing away every man that went near her. She wasn't really a 'dance with every single man you see' type of woman. Although, she knew that Uriel was like that, only with women, and she was fine with that. As long as it didn't go any further that a kiss on the cheek or a bullet through the head, Sapphire could care less. The Snow Ball was magnificent, it really was. 'Veritas really out did themselves this year ...' she thought to herself as she continued to walk around.
Suddenly, she spotted Uriel with a familiar face, and she knew that face well. It was Ocean, the head of those preppy ass cheerleaders. With a soft sigh escaping her purple lips, she walked over beside Uriel and smiled softly. "Hello again, kochana." Sapphire greeted as she looked over at Ocean. "Is this the woman you were talking about? My, she is a beauty." Sapphire gave her a kind smile, but under that smile was just a hint of jealousy, and something wanting to tell Ocean, 'touch him in any way besides a kiss on the cheek, and you will regret it terribly.'
ooc: That's Sapphire for you. Always nice on the outside, but inside she has so many emotions swirling in that body of hers.

Adam stepped into the hall, amazed at how the decorations looked. He was wearing black trousers and a black shirt with white cuffs and a white tie. He had a blazer but had left in his dorm room. He hadn't many plans of going outside, well as a human anyway.
'they really put some effort into this, I have to say i'm pretty impressed' he thought to himself as he worked his way over to the drinks table and picked up some festive non alcoholic punch. As Adam picked up his drink he noticed Ziio standing at the door he had just came through. He didn't know many people here so he thought he might as well say hello.
Adam picked up his punch and worked his way around the crowd of people towards Ziio "Hey Ziio, Over here" He smiled and did a small wave towards her

Ziio
The first time being at a dance, and Ziio was more nervous than that presentation she had to do in Chemistry. It was too big, too noisy, to many people. It was all so new to Ziio, for being at a dance wasn't really on the list of things she did at a younger age Even though she knew almost no one here, she heard one familiar voice in the crowd of unknown bodies. to her right, she saw Adam Steel almost digging his way out of the horde of people with sparkling dresses and black tuxedos. Ziio gave him a smile and sent him a little psychic, 'Hello,' before he was even close to her. That was one of the great perks about having Psychic Dialogue for a power.
Byron
Byron was having the time of his life. At least once people circled him and Silver as the pro danced to a song that was playing. Ah, the wonders of dancing with the greatest friend he could even ask for. Every once in a while, though, he would talk with others (mostly girls) and got to know them a little better. It's like his father always used to say, if you meet them and they like you, you two are no longer strangers to each other. As he began dancing again, he backed right into a girl with a pretty pink dress.
"Oof!" he grunted out as he looked at the pretty red head. "Oh, sorry about that." Byron's African accent was a little bit noticeable, even through the noise of the place.

Adam smiled again as he heard the familiar voice in his head "Nice to see you again" He hadn't found anybody else that he knew and he found Ziio quite warm and not loud like the others. "You look a bit lost" He said warmly but loud enough so she could hear him over the crowd and music. To be honest Adam hated large gatherings of people, for one it gave him a headache the amount of noise they made, and he like to be quiet and here he was forced to be loud. Adam had talked to the music teacher and got some noise cancelling ear plugs, so he would only hear as much as any normal human would. They were pretty small and you could hardly see them. It was Adams only saviour. Adam may not like large gathering but he liked being around people and listening to people, and he kind off wanted to build a bigger friends base, so he pushed himself to come.

Ziio
Ziio played with the beading of her black and red dress as she smiled at him. "I ... I haven't been to a dance before." she admitted to him softly, which was new because she never really admitted anything to anyone. "And I don't do so well in large crowds or loud music ..." Her face kind of look scared or nervous for a moment, but she regained herself quickly and forced a smile. "It is nice to see a familiar face though."
As she talked with Adam, Zilver cam up and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "Who's the cutie?" she randomly asked as she looked at Adam with her striking yellow eyes. "Is he your daate?"
Aela
Aela stayed near the wall, unable to commute was was going on at the moment. There were to many noises, to many sounds. She couldn't listen hard enough to identify who was who or where she was going. All she knew at the moment was that the most quietest part of the place was at the back.

Augustus was so happy that Aela agreed to go with him to the dance. When he arrived he saw that Aela was by the wall. He ran over to her. He saw that she looked slightly confused, probably because it was so loud in there and she wasn't able to use her ears to guide her. "HEY! IT'S AUGUSTUS!" He yelled as loud as he could. He wanted to make sure that she could hear him and that she knew he was hear and didn't just ditch her. "HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN HERE? I HOPE YOU WEREN'T WAITING FOR ME TO LONG!" He said.

Aela
Now that she heard. With a laugh she faced towards the sound of a familiar voice. "I have not been here long," she said in a loud tone, knowing very well that the music wasn't that loud ... hence why Augustus's voice was more noticeable out of all the others. "And I can hear you just fine, you do not have to yell at the top of your lungs." Aela let out another laugh as Fang sat next to her.
He was about to tell her that he was there, but Augustus seemed to beat him at that by yelling like he was the king of the world or something. Pathetic, really, but he had every reason to yell ... or at least so that Aela could know that he was there anyway.

Adam smiled as he realised what Ziio must be feeling "I don't like them much, too loud, plus there is nowhere to stretch my legs, and there drinks are horrible" He laughed, then took a sip of the drink "well apart from this, it's the only one that smelt nice" He laughed again nervously, he was starting to become self conscious of how much he was babbling on. "anyway don't worry, stick with me and then we can both dislike it together" Adam began to drink the fruit punch again hiding his nervousness behind his cup. He noticed another girl walk up to Ziio and start talking. As soon as she mentioned cutie and date, Adam had slightly choked on his drink but managed to swallow the drink before gasping for air
'well done, adam, well done. What an amazing impression your making tonight' His nerves were then tripled and his hand began to shake slightly

Ziio let out a laugh when he choked on his drink after Silv said that. "Stop it," she said with her mind to the both of them, "you're going to kill him if you keep popping up like that." Yes, Ziio could joke. She wasn't all a bunch of nerves. Silver laughed and held out a hand to Adam. "Sorry about that, amico," she apologized with a friendly smile. "I'm Sylvia, but many people just call me Silver, Silvy, or Silv. Take your pick." Ziio smiled up at Silver. "And by the way," she added, "he's not my date. Just a friend I met in Math." "Oooh!" Silver squeed lightly. "He can tutor you! Unless you suck at math too ... then you guys can suck at math together!" That was Silver, always trying to get her two-bits worth in. ooc: Bahaha, always count on Silvy to make a night more ... awesome.

Adam coughed a few times before laughing at Ziio's joke "i would like to stay alive for now" He smiled "and i'm not that bad at math, but someone keeps distracting me" He looked at Ziio raising his eyebrows "Nice to meet you Silver" He smiled "if you don't mind me asking whats your power?" for some reason Adam still felt a bit rude asking what powers people have, It felt to him like he was asking a personal question, but everyone here had a power. 'Being respectful of others doesn't cost anything' he thought of what his primary school teacher used to say

Silver smirked some and jumped up and floated in mid air. "I have the power of hovering and telekinesis." she replied to him with a bright smile.
Ziio smirked and pushed her, making her float away a little like there was no gravity in the room. "Though she needs a little practice," she added as Silver dropped down and landed on her rear.
"Oh hush you ..." she muttered before looking up on stage. "Well! My turn to mix the board! Seeya! Have fun with this cutie. Oh! And do tell me the deets when this night is over." And with that, the fiery haired girl bolted up to the stage and began playing the mixing board again.
Ziio let out a laugh. "She's something ..."
