Aela shrugged lightly as she took his hand, not really wanting to lose his location in a place that was terribly unpredictable. She stood close to him as they walked back to her spot, which thankfully wasn't taken by anyone. "That was fun," she said laughing lightly. He stepped on her toes at least three times before the song had ended. But it was fun all the same for her, especially since this was her first slow dance with anyone.
Fang walked back and gave her a wolfish grin. 'Well would you look at that,' he teased her, 'my little French Fry didn't trip or made a fool of herself ... to badly.'
"Oh hush you ..." Aela muttered to Fang crossing her arms.

"Yes, it was. The one thing that I wish I didn't do was step on your toes. Again I'm sorry if I hurt you. At least we didn't hurt ourselves to much" He replied, laughing.
" So, what would you like to do now? I don't really care what we do, its up to you."
"By the way, I was wanting to ask you something. Will you go on a like a real date with me tomorrow? I want to take you to this restaurant." He said

Ocean shrugged, mentally kicking herself for not having her facade up to scratch. How could Uriel tell that there was something wrong. "It was that kiss in the club Uriel, sent me off my head." She joked, running a hand through her cascading curls. He was speaking to her, but she began to speak over him. "I need your help Uriel. With a boy. And I've been in reh-" Someone stepped into their conversation, cutting both Ocean and Uriel off.
"Ah, Sapphire. I have been secretly rooting for Uriel to find you again." She said without any introduction or hesitation, her usual confidence back in place. Oceaniana did not misinturpt the true meaning underneath Sapphire's kind smile. She could smell the hint of jealousy. The classes her father had made her take in emotions and body language growing up had really paid off. "You are a fine one to talk, hardly anyone in this room could radiate more beauty than you tonight, Sapphire is it?" Well, of course she knew it was Sapphire, she looked exactly like the girl in the picture with Uriel she had seen.
"To be honest Uriel, it is only contracted that I have one bodyguard." She could just imagine Sapphire being with Uriel when he was supposed to be protecting her. Russian spies with Russian-spy stuff brainwashed into them or not, she didn't want to have to deal with their lovey-dovey bullshit when she was trying to cope with her own problems currently.
Uriel kissed her cheek once more before turning to peck Sapphires lips before he walked away.Smooth. "Mikhail, you dumb ass, I think you are forgetting something." She shouted across to him.
She turned her attention once more to Sapphire, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Everybody seems to be interested in what my power is. Perhaps I could show you." And by show her, Ocean meant use her powers to actually possess Sapphire.

"If you mean using it on myself ... no thank you." Sapphire replied to her. The last thing she needed was to be someone's test power dummy. "And as for the whole bodyguard thing. I won't actually be there, but I will be helping to get rid of ... whatever may be stalking you." Sapphire pushed away some hair as she watched him leave with his group, disappearing in the sea of well dressed students.
"Look," she then said looking back at her, "I don't hate you, and I certainly don't want to underestimate the power you may possess, so I am going to say this once and never again. Do not fuck Uriel, no matter how dashingly handsome he may be, or no matter how much your hormones drive you nuts. Got it?" Sapphire did not care how she would react, she just wanted her word that she wouldn't even try to fuck him ... thinking about it was a whole other matter.
As the music played on, Sapphire began to sway with the music. "About your power," she began once again, "if you use it on another person, I wouldn't mind watching to see how it worked. Rather than ... experiencing it myself."

"We'll talk to Uriel about the whole bodyguard thing." Ocean laughed, shaking her head as if the simple notion of her fucking Uriel was funny. She needed to laugh it off, because the feelings in her stomach was sickening. "Oh sweetie," She said it almost patronizing, "there is no need for you to worry about that. I see Uriel as a friend, that is all." A friend that was also hot and a good kisser. Her tone turned soft as she began to speak again. "When Uriel first told me about you, I saw how much pain he was in emotionally. You are the love of his life. His Konfacia.. what's the Russian word?" She grimaced, not being able to recall the word Uriel had used to describe Sapphire. "Your story of how you both confessed your love for each other... I'm glad you found him again."
Ocean began to sway to the music, moving her hips in a seductive manor. School ball or not, she would dance however she wanted. She had many questions she wanted to ask Sapphire, but decided that it was not the best time to ask. "Probably better that way, you wouldn't like to experience my powers first hand. I can get a little.. shall we say over the top?" Ocean looked around the room for a unsuspecting victim. "You chose who I shall demonstrate on. Has Uriel told you of my powers?" She asked.

Tanner was shaking his head at Sky. "Say whatever you want, I know you like the accent." He glared at her playfully. "And don't compare me to Rebecca Black, or I'll start singing Friday. And not even my accent can make that song good." It was a shame he even knew of that song.
As the two of them approached the dance, he was grinning to himself, but it faded a little bit when he saw the group standing outside of the doors. He scanned the three people, knowing instantly who they were. And again, the mission he had that he'd been seemingly unaware of, appeared in his head. His eyes locked on the short brunette for a moment.
Keep an eye on her... His father's voice rang in his head as they neared the doors, walking past the trio.

"I like it, but I'm a sucker for anything black." Monroe said with a grin and then realized that everything he was saying could double as an insult and the smile faded from his face. Did he not know how to word things correctly? Like Adaryn wasn't already unsure enough of herself. He was only making it worse. "Shit, sorry. I wasn't trying to say that I didn't like your dress. I meant to ask if Ella forced you to come, like forced you to wear the dress not...." he trailed off. Sleep deprivation did him in every time. He looked over to Ella as if pleading for help, but she'd probably be cracking up at how much of a fool he was making of himself. This is why he didn't want to come!
"And yeah, Ella forced me to come. She couldn't force me to wear different shoes though." He gestured towards his combat boots.

Dakota had spent way too long by the punch bowl. He had drank approximately four cups already, unsure of what else he was supposed to do. He felt lost, really lost. His eyes were scanning the crowd as he finished up another cup, a catchy pop song blaring through the auditorium.
He couldn't help but want to burn the ice sculpture he was standing next to. It was a giant one of a snowflake and he felt the need to use his power lately which was weird, but he figured it was all apart of the issues he was having. He finally tossed away his cup, deciding to try to be somewhat social. So he took a deep breath and walked into the sea of people. Part of him was disappointed that Talon hadn't come, but then again, he knew it wasn't something he would do. Talon had gave him a weird look when he left.
Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a boy with curly brown hair that he'd recognized from campus, but suddenly he seemed very attractive. Dakota was sure it wasn't just the bright lights.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Keyla grinned at Byron. "Actually...plants die very easily. You have to constantly care for them." She managed to laugh at what he was insinuating. "If any plants ever die because you neglect them, I can bring them back to life. Her eyes widened as he explained his own power, which he didn't seem amused by. "What are you talking about? That is an awesome power! Although I guess one always wants what they don't have, huh?" He could just morph into a wolf and run off into the night. What a stress reliever that would be! "And I don't usually use my powers to harm others, but sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures." She smirked, playing off the devious look.

Everett wondered if Marley would show. Had she only agreed so he'd stop threatening to bust the lights? Okay, so that actually made sense. His tactics were flawed and...well, a little extreme. He didn't mean to act like a douche, but sometimes he came off as a bit pushy. But he didn't know what it was about Marley, he just wanted her to experience life, to see that there still were good things out there. He just didn't know what had shattered her. But it must have been really bad.
Despite his annoyance at hair products and dressing up, he'd managed to clean up well. Sure, his hair was a bit messy as usual because of the electricity coursing through him. It was impossible with all of the electronics in the auditorium. It was fueling him with an incredible energy and he had no problem with it. He was dancing in the middle of a crowd without much care. Sure, sometimes the energy was too much, but right now he felt alive.
Marley would show up. She would.

Once again she was glad Gavin was taking her side. Propelling down above the punch bowl just to dumo some alcohol into is was ridiculous. Plus now Uriel was not even making any sense.
"Calm down there with the crazy ideas, Uriel," she said impatiently. "If we just dump it in and the school thinks it was a student, isn't that the point? They'll think it was a student no matter how we put the damned alcohol in the punch. It's not like they're going to see us dump it in or shoot it in." She snorted at his ridiculous imagination. "Think a little less outside the box; you're way up in another galaxy with your ideas, Mikhail."
She gestured to the hidden vial and then at the two of them. "Now go. Distract while I do the real hard work," she teased, than waited with her hands on her hips for the two of them to figure out something. "And don't make it obvious. We don't want people thinking it's a distraction."

Sapphire nodded and scanned the room, looking for someone weak and vulnerable. Finally, she spotted a weak looking boy, scared out of his mind as he was being shoved around as people bumped and walked passed him. "How about him?" she asked smirking wide. "I think he needs a little ... help getting people to stop knocking him to the ground ... or we can make it worse. Your choice." A smirk crawled up onto her face as she continued to watch the skinny boy tumble to the ground from people bumping into him. It was entertaining to watch really, and rather pathetic all at the same time.

"Well at least we'll match when we're both tripping over each other," Mikayla joked, but secretly hoped none of that happened. She was not aiming so high as to have their dancing up their with professional magical moments, but she hoped they danced together decently enough that no one got injured or embarrassed or anything.
She let him lead her onto the dance floor, trying not to focus on trying not to look stupid. She could not look to other girls to see how they were dancing, so she just winged it and let her body move to the music, hoping she did not look completely ridiculous. Gabe's hand in hers helped; she hoped he never let go of her, and not just because his hands were guiding her.
A blush reddened her cheeks when he complimented her. "You definitely did, but you could say it again and I wouldn't mind," she added with a shy smile. She certainly was not one to turn down compliments. It was nice hearing them, especially since she did not often. "You look great as well. I mean, I'm assuming. But don't try to tell me otherwise," she warned with a grin. "Because I definitely won't believe you."

Ella's eyes widened slightly as Monroe half complimented/half insulted Adaryn. She couldn't say what she was thinking. But in her head she was half yelling at Monroe. 'Oh my god. You're such a guy. Just stop saying things! You're going to ruin everything!. She just sighed though, and shook her head.
"Ok ok. Yeah I kinda forced you both here, and I'm still a little disappointed in Monroe's choice of footwear but whatever. Guys just let me explain," she begged, seeing as they both weren't truly complying in their heads. "I just... I wanted you guys to come down here and experience this... together. All you guys do is think about each other all the time. Worry about each other. Get made when one gets asked to the ball by another guy," she glanced sassily at Monroe when she said this. "I wanted to see Adaryn in that dress and I wanted you to see it too Monroe because Ad, you look fucking stunning and not one person in that auditorium will tell you otherwise. And I just want you guys to have one dance together. Then I'll leave you alone and if you want to disappear than be my guest." She took a deep breath when she had finally finished talking, as if all the air had been taken out of her. "And if you don't then at least I got the dress thing to happen. I'm still pretty excited about that..."

"I'm actually wearing bright purple pants and a lime green blazer. My bow tie is Scottish plaid and I tucked my pants into my yellow argyle socks so whether I look nice or not is extremely debatable," Gabe joked in an overly serious tone, as he spun Mikalya under their arms with a smile. He pulled her a little closer to him and moved one of his hands around her waist.
"Is this alright?" he asked, feeling like he already knew the answer by the look on her face though. It was strange how he felt he could read her slightly misty eyes. He loved the feeling of holding her close, and would be content staying that way forever - even if it means staying in the stupid tux.

Marley sighed as she stood outside of the auditorium, staring in at the masses of people. She couldn't believe she was doing this. Sure, a promise was a promise, but she felt like she shouldn't have to comply with somebody who was being such a douchebag by the end of their first meeting. Yet, here she was.
Her hair was in its normal state, slightly frizzy with her bangs over her scarred eye. She hadn't done much to make it look any "better" feeling as if it didn't matter anyway. She had gone back downtown just the night before to a second hand shop to find an affordable dress. She wasn't expecting to find anything spectacular, but the girl who was working their had basically annoyed her into the fancy black gown she wore that night. 'Oh you look so gorgeous. You HAVE to get that one. You just HAVE to' Marley bought it just to shut her up. She appreciated that it was black, and she had to admit that she liked the necklace she had found to wear with it, but she felt like she took up about 3 times as much space as she needed to. Under the dress she was wearing an old pear of black converse. But nobody could see that. Not that she cared much anyway. She'd be wearing them if she wore a short dress too. She couldn't afford new shoes if she wanted them.
She finally forced herself into the room, but stayed toward the walls, not bothering to be noticed. She got a few strange looks from people who knew her from class. Kind of like 'woah why are you in a dress?' She just glared in response. Part of her wished she could just find Everett to prove she was there and then leave.

Rafael slowly roamed around the room, observing all the people dancing and chatting. He wasn't used to being alone, and was almost trying to find at least one person he slightly knew to get him started in talking and socializing, but he hadn't seen anybody yet. He continued to scan the room, and stopped on a pair of eyes which seemed to be staring right at him. Rafi furrowed his brow, and looked around to see if anybody was around him. When he looked back, the boy had looked away.
Rafael looked at himself to make sure there wasn't anything odd about his appearance, no stains on his shirt. And when he was convinced the boy wasn't looking at him for any such reason, he made his way over to pour himself a drink. He nodded at the boy as he passed though, in a friendly manner, not recognizing him from anywhere.

Skylar
You keep thinking that big boy," She gave him a quick pat on his shoulder. Never would she admit that she thought the accent was slightly attractive. She'd probably be tied up in a bed being stabbed in the stomach before that happened. "Oh lord, please don't start it. I'd probably drop dead right here, then you'd have to carry me back to my room and be forced to go to the dance with no date and live with that fact that you killed your date with your horrific singing."
They had gotten closer to the auditorium, and she knew this because of the loud pop music that was echoing through the halls. Skylar perked up instantly, excited to step through and start the best night of the year. This was her last year here anyway, so she wanted to make it exciting. When she looked up at Tanner once more, she saw that he was looking at a group of three freshmen with a frown on his face. He noticed in that group there were two girls and some guy. The brown haired one looked awkward, while the guy just looked creepy and goth, and then the blonde girl looked happy as could be. Why was he looking at them? She narrowed her eyes. "Tanner, I didn't know you had a thing for fresh meat." She said sarcastically, and actually, with a bit of jealousy in her tone.
Wait, why was she jealous?
Adaryn
Her heart was in her stomach, and she felt like throwing up right there, but she forced a smile onto her face. "I'm fine, Monroe. I understood what you meant." She wanted to leave. Like now. But Eloise tried explaining what she had wanted to do between them, and her face went red. She... she did not always think about Monroe! She was just worried about how he never sleeps and if Cain was visiting him. That was it!
"I-I do not think about him all the time!" She exclaimed, trying to defend herself. But she still couldn't look Monroe in the eyes because Eloise said 'you two' meaning that Monroe was. Then El mentioned the whole junior asking her out, and she froze. "Y-you saw that?" She asked, turning to Monroe, but still avoiding eye contact. "Is that why you weren't talking to me...?" Adaryn was going to be sick, literally.
"I-I have to go." She turned and ran, not really knowing where she was going. She just had to get out of there. Adaryn was embarrassed, hurt, and felt slightly betrayed. She loved Ella but there were certain things one did not say to another. She crossed those lines tonight. Big time.

Uriel actually smiled at them before shrugging "That's where you two differ fro m me. You get the job done, and that's it...I get the job done and get out with style. I don't blame you two devils anyways. I'm obviously the most sadistic among us. Kind of like... Cookie Monster from Sesame's Street. or Elmo. I think Cookie Monster is more sadistic, though." Uriel , full of seriousness nodded his head. Not realizing what the devil he just said. And when she suggested his plan, he shook his head furiously, his blonde hair swinging around.
"No no no! I'm not going to drop Gavin on his ass. That would be horrendous." He then snapped his finger, to the side, stealing a random fan before fanning himself "Too atrocious. I don't get into "high school fights" The fights I get in are often to the death involving pressure point hits and death touches. And killing Gavin would unleash Miss Kraken." He pointed at her "Seven hell worth of fury on me." He brushed his blonde hair, running his fingers through his hair. In truth, he didn't want to hurt Gavin cause...he's the closest to a brother he ever had.
"So instead, I suggest we do this..." He grabbed a glass of punch, slamming it on the table and causing the shard to fly, He shoved his elbow on the closest man besides him, sending him toppling down as he chucked the glass on the wall, causing some students to look at him. Uriel turned around and grabbed the man by his hair, before visibly tossing him to one of the tables. He watched as one of the men's friend tried to punch him. Uriel grabbed him by his wrist and shoved a palm, right below his chest, watching him spit out blood. Uriel turned around, kicking a man's neck, and causing him to topple down. He swung his foot and back flipped, launching a flying spinning kick at the man who he just palmed, He watched as he drilled down on his chest, launching him to the ground. Uriel expertly landed, his hands in front of him before shouting.
"ROAD HOUSE."
